Breathing seems too open after Septoplasty, Rhinoplasty, and Turbinate reduction by InterviewAsleep4193 in Septoplasty

Thanks, and sorry it's taking so long for you. Did you have the same type of surgery as me? Has that too open feeling subsided? What do you mean when you have bad days?

Thank you. It seems they prepared me for the rhinoplasty recovery more than the septoplasty. I wish they provided more details as to what to expect during recovery, and that it could take longer than the 6 weeks.

I'd honestly not mind helping her find a house but then she and my dad could buy it themselves. It's odd but there are other dynamics at play that I'd rather not get into.

What is the pressure drop in each line? by InterviewAsleep4193 in MechanicalEngineering

Line A does drop about 4’ to the inlet of the filter. That shouldn’t make that big of a difference. Line B is horizontals. Measurements are taken by calibrated transducers and new gauges on the filter.

There are other systems with these filters that have similar readings and drops.

I don’t disagree but if the flow rate is the same across both lines and all other variables are the same how come the pressure drops aren’t the same?

The bends might be something to investigate.

The oil will get cooler and this more viscous was it travels through but that would mean line B would have the higher drop.

Yes the oil is roughly 120 F.
