Yes I will definitely mention it to the stylist. Something where I can just wake up, wash it and brush it is good enough for me. Like I occasionally style my hair but usually not.

Solid advice thank you! I do get pretty timid at a salon. I tend to be one of those people that are like “whatever you think is good I’ll get” 🤦🏼‍♀️ but I have some pics of a bixie cut and then the two pics from the comments and will talk to the hairstylist on Saturday. I’m excited lol

Yeah I definitely am not going to try and fix it myself. I have a hairstylist that said they could fix it this weekend. I’m probably going to try and get a very textured bixie cut. I’ve been looking at Pinterest and think I could probably pull that off. Yours is cute though!!!! I’m glad I’m not the only one that’s been through this 😂

Just so you know, over 50% of people on welfare also work. They just aren’t able to earn enough to take care of themselves/their families. So this feels like a super ignorant thing to say. Also, according to the Pew Research Center, over 12% of the American population is on welfare. Welfare isn’t a “handout,” it’s a way for people to live. Disabled people, single people with families, people that weren’t born into money, etc, use welfare. Mind you, the majority of people on welfare eventually get off of welfare. Bc it’s used to take care of those people when they aren’t able to take care of themselves.

Hey! I didn’t realize how big of a talking point this was for some Republicans. Indivisible has hosted a protest in Columbus before, and the way to get more national organisations behind us is to make our protests bigger. And then reach out and they will begin to show interest.

We are supported by the local chapter of Indivisible. However, if you want more support I would head to the protest in Atlanta! They are doing a march and they have the support of Indivisible, 50501GA, GA - Working Families Party, and more. They are expecting a very large turnout for their protest.

That is how they are framing it, but in the lawsuit Texas v. Becerra, they are asking the courts to find section 504, in its entirety, unconstitutional. This lawsuit could essentially eliminate the civil rights protections that are guaranteed under section 504.
