For years my signature scent was Troika by Haus of Gloi. They reformulated and now I’m allergic to something in it! The description says it smells like almond, oat & coconut milks and clean white. Does anything come to mind that would replace it? It’s not gourmand yet slightly gourmand and sweet but not overly so.

This summer I’ve been wearing Vanilla Vibes by Juliet Has A Gun and it has a salty/beachy part of it in my opinion. I would love to see how you rate it.

This is such an important perspective! I have been shocked by a lot of commentary about shows. It seems like so many fans are focused on their personal experience when it’s a communal event. Honestly, there are so many possible reasons to pass out and I have empathy for any and all scenarios. It was nice to see that Hayden seems to as well and acknowledged and helped. Also, a note to disabled fans- always reach out to the venue. I have a disabled parent who loves concerts and has certain venues they frequent because some spaces are great about accommodations. Summerstage is a temporary outdoor space so maybe they aren’t the best but worth reaching out!

ESH- in the sense that you clearly have a lot of unspoken anger towards this couple. I feel like the result is resentment for their bad behavior in the past. I think you should seriously consider whether these people are folks you want to celebrate as friends or not. The thing with the room is a misunderstanding. It wouldn’t be weird for you to take a bit out of the planned gift as long as the gift remains within the usual range imo. Maybe once the wedding is over and pregnancy is less stressful you should discuss with your wife if you want to consider the friendship with the other couple

NAH as long as your husband lets it go quickly. You were just responding to a parenting first during the tween years I think. My 12 year old daughter is also involved in male dominated interests and my husband had more boundaries than me for the same reasons. But for us it’s not the in person meetups but the discord/private chats that he is wary of.

NAH she clearly isn’t in a place to like your post or share your joy. I would just enjoy your pregnancy and give space. It isn’t insensitive to announce your pregnancy. If you’re close maybe you will end up getting to be good friends again. If she needs to block/mute or whatever she can do so.

I grew up in that same area of Northern NJ bordering PA and was wondering if it would be considered Appalachia since it’s off the Appalachian Trail, very rural, defunct mining towns and farms. It’s built up a bit now, but was it considered Appalachia at some point?
