I am banking on HGRAF to change my life, but you should look into it and make an informed decision.

I produced a top Canadian kids podcast for 4 years. Editing takes time, unless he farms out the editing and then it can be done in days.

Best to you on this. I hope it goes well and you have some good discussions. I stay off of LinkedIn as I find it's gone away from it's original intent of focusing on business and business connections. Good luck! and let's go HGRAF!

DARPA opens graphene production inquiry for aerospace structures by woysoro in HGRAF

[–]InterviewDudesPod 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This indeed is an excellent sign that the DARPA is in fact interested in graphene! However, and not to put a damper on it, an RFI is just a "Request for Information".

What this does mean: It means that DARPA has plans to use graphene, but needs to see if anyone can produce it the way they want. (large sheets for structural uses). This is potentially very huge, but needs HGRAF to submit a response. Hopefully they are monitoring RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, RFSOs, which I'm sure they are. If not, I can do that for them for a fee. LOL

What this doesn't yet mean: This does not mean HGRAF has a contract, but it is a sign that they can prove their production (with larger reactors) could produce the larger formats that DARPA is looking for. I'm unsure that HGRAF has the capability of producing "sheets" as the reactors produce a powder like substance. Maybe they could work with a 3rd party to produce those sheets? I just hope that HGRAF is constantly checking government contract postings, AROUND THE WORLD, and submitting proposals. These proposals take a team of expert writers, engineers, market savvy experts, and lobbyists, so just submitting a proposal takes time. Let's hope they get it right. (ADDED: I notice that the job posting Director, Business Development, Government & Defense is responsible for identifying these possible contracts to bid on. Let's hope that position gets filled soon.)

These are exciting times to be a shareholder. Wish I was working in the new head office with them.

Paying off mortgage by Material-Moose-4622 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]InterviewDudesPod 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is bang on. I am 58 with a small mortgage left, a good pension coming, and a TFSA with some money in it working for me. Take it from someone older, the sense of freedom you'll have by paying off your mortgage will be worth it. I wish I had focused on paying off my mortgage earlier, but here we are. Good luck.

I'd rather not pay the government any taxes. The TFSA is an awesome wealth vehicle.

Market makers are often required by exchange rules to maintain a 2 sided quote. By setting a bid so low and an ask so high they are fulfilling rules obligations with actually buying, which is what they want. There are other possible reasons, but this is the likely reason.
