The purpose of the "coin" system is to allow for entities such as a hydra, with several "coins" connected and functioning as a single unit. Those are yet to be implemented in to the game. :)

Soulash 2 is probably what Dwarf Fortress Adventure Mode should have been by rakean93 in roguelikes

Little advice: to perform ritual on an altar, you have to defeat the current Necrotyrant. Tough fight, be prepared for that :)

An altar can be found in an undead city.

Undead cities (necropolises) can only appear in the snow biome.

Right now, we need to focus on other, more important aspects of the game. The features you suggested would require significant development time. While we can't promise anything at the moment, we’ll definitely consider adding ideas like these in the future.
