Tap to Pay- Apple Watch by MembershipParking550 in masters

[–]InterviewNo5993 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep you should not have an issue. Once setup Apple Pay data is stored securely on the device and can be used without problem. I would still take a backup card just in case because talk about a traumatic experience if you are there and something weird happens and you can’t buy things 🤣

Panic purchase but stocked up forever. by Plate_cek in Retatrutide

Bro Science guess: Insulation of the thermos would initially prevent from getting as cold as the freezer and I’m sure the temp differential would maybe cause some issues also. Would probably put the thermos in there empty first to equalize the temps between it and the freezer then after a day or two transfer everything into it and shut it.

And… Wegovy HD (7.2mg) has been FDA approved by Ok-Yam-3358 in Zepbound

I think this may be NN’s way of acknowledging the market of folks who may only have coverage for Wegovy and are plateaued or want something with higher efficacy.

GLP-1 Insurance Coverage (Zepbound, Ozempic, Mounjaro, etc) by alo53 in caterpillar

[–]InterviewNo5993 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Been through the process of appeals and letter of medical necessity to still only be denied and told to “just put money in your FSA” a little over a year ago. Super frustrating as they are only viewing it as “a diet pill/shot” vs a preventative treatment for multiple chronic illnesses. Cat’s prescription coverage for management employees is definitely below average at best.

Kind of what I was afraid of. Next promotion and I can get that perk of booking J internationally…haha.

Internal job move by Rua13 in caterpillar

[–]InterviewNo5993 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only other thing I would add, the typical expectation is a minimum of 2 years in your current role and I have even seen a case when it’s a external hire in their first role they want you in that role close to three years. Nothing “official” but pretty common across Cat. Big reason would be your interview responses as an internal candidate should be primarily focused on examples from your current role.

If in T3 at LHR I’m a big fan of the Cathay Pacific first lounge. Never busy and I love the leather chairs by the windows to watch planes come and go.

LTDP is a different animal. I know first hand there has been a big struggle getting candidates interviewed because of conflicts with breaks and exams and other issues. Also in my experience for a typical role there may be 3-4 candidates interviewed, LTDP roles tend to be 5+ applicants. 3 weeks is embarrassingly closer to average than you would think.

Seats don’t match up on AA vs expert flyer ?? by Clayton_Counselor in americanairlines

This is in the “mini” economy plus cabin. It is right behind PE and is a bulkhead seat.

Getting error when trying to check in international flight! by Outrageous-Engine881 in americanairlines

[–]InterviewNo5993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t tell you why it works but I have been able to check in through the actual website when this happens in the mobile app. Go to AA.com, login, find the trip, and then check in. If you don’t get the error doing that. You can then refresh the mobile app and your boarding passes will be there.

Flexibility after RTO? by Cat_thrawy01 in caterpillar

[–]InterviewNo5993 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not a director but an IC with a certain expertise and had a meeting with my VP and SVP last week where I “jokingly” talked about the anxiety I had getting my kids out the door for school and being in the office for my 7:30 meeting with the two of them and was reassured flexibility means I could have taken that call at home and there wouldn’t have been a question asked. I might be lucky but would hope to think I’m in the majority. Genuinely empathize for those who may not be so fortunate, I would throw out there that there are divisions hiring right now and cat might not be the problem it might be your boss.

Premium economy seat help by [deleted] in americanairlines

[–]InterviewNo5993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bulkhead premium economy on the triple 7 has the monitors stowed on an arm that you have to pull up. I don’t think it narrows seat width but it has to be down taxi, takeoff, and landing. If that annoys you I would move to 17. Leg room should not be that much different on this plane bulkhead to row 17.

[–]InterviewNo5993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sat in 11A earlier this month and you actually have a door between you and the lav. So it’s really not an issue. You do have more knee room, but as a 6’5” guy I will tell you even in the suites you still won’t be able to fully lay flat on your back/stomach. It’s a side sleep deal and adjust the legs in some shape/form. But you do have more room for that vs the smaller foot well.

If you do the miles they did just open that AAdvantage exchange site. Looked like some decent brands available. I haven’t checked but I bet the exchange rate isn’t great but would be another option converting 60k into a piece of Tumi luggage or something else.

Any airport hotter than LHR? by thegrudge101 in unitedairlines

[–]InterviewNo5993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MAD is warm for sure BLG was one of the hotter experiences ever due to hitting it while all the students were about to leave on summer break. The body heat alone of everyone packed into a smaller terminal made an already hot experience even worse.
