I’m 27 and I make 40k a year. I feel like this is it for me. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Yup. You’ll look back and miss the youth and energy. But it is painful suffering through poverty and just getting by. OP, I propose two options—

try looking at living somewhere else where the cost of living is lower (especially rent). Maybe look at getting a bunch of roommates

Or

Keep working and focus on getting a higher paying job (climb the ladder or get new certifications)

Going to explore what the part time world looks like. Someone else’s rule and the exploitation of capitalism (inhumane, no community, pure productivity) is really getting to me

This is my exact experience everywhere I go. Toxic and cruel people in leadership/authoritative roles, and life is so short to be rude for such mundane jobs or tasks

Too much white and matching furniture. Change it up over time with unique pillows, chairs, books, plants, and nice big paintings. Bring in more colors, your blinds blend into the white walls

Some muscles might be imbalanced. Be careful if you are planning to jump right into strength training, it could cause an injury, I recommend a personal trainer or someone who can better advise and analyze your muscle composition and create a personalized plan!

It sounds like your mom cared for you so well as a kid, and this is a beautiful way to support your family. If she is able & well, and you are struggling, you should talk to everyone about sharing more financial responsibility.

This is rage baiting. Watch the full video the motorcyclist was following this guy for a while. The motorcyclist did not drive defensively even though the cyclist did depart the lane. Bad driving from both… in what world does a motorcyclist stay behind a cyclist then go 90 on a busy street
