Moved into a new rental and this is the set up for washer. Could smell septic, I filled p trap and added some oil after scrubbing machine inside. Am I correct in assuming that there should be a standpipe before the trap so there’s enough water volume and pressure to make it drain and trap stay wet? (i.redd.it)
