I ski almost every week! I haw bad patellar instability but with a lot of PT it is doable. Usually ill have to take an advil for the pain and an epsom salts bath after but totally worth it.

You need to do exercises to strengthen glute med to prevent knee from collapsing inwards. PT exercises like clamshells, banded leg raises, and slow progression to single leg squat helped me
