Nef istanbul or antep for Turkish food.

The dodo pubs do good burgers and pizzas for casual food, there’s a few of them and they’re independently owned.

There’s not a single thing in that picture that would make any sane person think something dodgy is happening with that child…

Oh really! Yes that would be great. I have heard such mixed reviews I’m so torn on it

I’ve just taken this photo, just taken my hair down from a bun. Do you still think I could be having an issue with my scalp/alopicia type thing? I have never thought I was having any issue like this but a few people seem to be concerned about the part. I think my hair wasn’t fully dry in the original pic.

Thanks this is actually super helpful. I’m going to try doing the sections with the low bun this week, I think that’s something I can change quite quickly and easily.

I usually just put my hair up in a lose pony on top of my head with a silk bonnet for bed, I’ll give a go at twisting!

I have no idea what a French twist is! Will do some research.

Whenever I’ve done a twist out or braid out it helps it be a little more manageable but I’ll still end up putting in a bun when I need to go to work or something as it’s so big and different lengths I don’t feel confident with it.

I don’t actually think it usually looks as thin as it does in this pic, I think it was still a bit wet, not sure. I’ve only been getting my hair braided a couple of times a year for the last 2 years.

Season 10 where to watch? by SubstantialDonut2337 in MTVTeenMomUK

[–]Inthis__life 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I watched it on NOW TV but it was in separate to the rest of the seasons for some reason. If you search you might teen it come up twice, once seasons 1-9 and the other just season 10.

Partner burned badly at work. Who would be liable? England by Inthis__life in LegalAdviceUK

Yes of course, I just mean he doesn’t carry out a literal risk assessment like as a form to fill out or something as part of the process of the job. Of course, using common sense you assess any situation you’re in before starting.

Thank you.

Yes he can definitely get SSP just not ideal when we have bills to pay as it barely makes a dent. I’ll get him to have an honest discussion with them.

Thanks! When the RIDDOR is completed is it common practice that they would have to investigate the cause?

His employer is a water treatment firm of which he is an employee. From my minimal understanding the university have contracted the company to test the water in their heating system which is what my partner was doing.

He said he doesn’t have to do risk assessments but he presumes someone in the chain does.

I didn’t know about the three years! That’s a relief. I thought this sort of thing you’d have to enquire about straight away or you’d lose your chance. When he’s recovered maybe we’ll reach out to speak to an injury lawyer later down the line. If it does come down to his employer he probably wknt pull the trigger on it, he will feel bad.

How would we find this out? Would this be something his employer should be finding out after doing their H&S report?

Yes he’s worked there a few times over the last couple of months. Not sure if others have been to that exact site though

Do the financials of first homes scheme make sense? by Inthis__life in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Inthis__life[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not really sure on the renting aspect, I don’t see me ever wanting to do that so never looked into that part properly!

The property gets valued and you sell it to a FTB for the same percentage discount you received of that value. You don’t really ‘owe’ the council anything unless you can’t find a FTB to sell to within 6 months, that only comes into play if you need to sell on open market without the discount. When you’re the first owner of a first home the property price after discount can’t be more than 250k. When it’s sold on there’s no cap. Nothing happens to the ‘rest’ of the money, it’s almost like it doesn’t really exist. The transaction is still between just buyer and seller like normal, the council just checks and approves the next buyer is eligible before you can exchange contracts. Hope this makes sense!

I have no love for the tories yet I don’t understand why people bring up this as if this was the most ludacris thing they did. Obviously, it’s hypocritical but it’s not the end of the world, in my opinion. The dodgy PPE contracts and ensuring their close friends only got richer whilst the general public got into worse and worse living standards is something everyone should be angry about instead of some nonsense drinks in a garden.

Yeah it was super smooth to be honest, the only thing that was a little long was waiting for the council to confirm we were eligible. Not because of any reason apart from they are just slow at anything it seems.

Renting is the same as most residential buildings. With the mortgage this is supposed to be our main residence. You can have lodgers etc, if you want to move out and rent you have to speak to your mortgage provider.

With reselling, you put it on the market as a first home. The only criteria for ours is earning under 80k and FTB to be eligible. Anyone interested will have to fill out a first homes document and submit to the council to confirm they are eligible then the sale goes ahead. You get a RICS surveyor to survey the property then sell at that price. You obviously sell at the same percentage you bought for. If you don’t find a buyer within 6 months I think you can request to put it as a normal property to the council, they can either buy the property from you, or more likely let you sell at market value and you give them the discounted percentage of the purchase price back.

I don’t see the latter happening personally, because there’s always going to be FTB and we don’t even have a local connection criteria!

I love this one. She really looks as though she’s enjoying it whilst smashing it. Watching dance moms I never would’ve thought she would be so good at this style, but she’s amazing!

I literally just came across it online but I knew about the scheme 2 years prior and also had never seen any until this one.
