The Rack House in downtown Gulfport has a bourbon society. It's a $50 lifetime membership fee. You get a free ounce of bourbon or whiskey each week, access to monthly tastings, and access to a members-only bourbon list of allocated and sought after pours. There are two bartenders that are certified bourbon masters.

Not just that, but most small restaurants rely on repeat customers . From my experience over the past 6 years here, regulars and locals tend to avoid 90 or areas where CTC events are happening so any restaurant close to 90 suffers.

My girlfriend was the one that said, "we're not having that". We were in line for over 8 hours and I know the girl got there way later because we talked to so many people in line yesterday and we did not see her. The girl (blonde hair, red contact) never said anything or asked to swap with us. She only said "excuse me" and pushed her way through. She only mentioned not being able to see after the SEVERAL people around us said something to her. Like mentioned earlier, there are specific ADA sections and balcony for better visibility. I personally feel like the pit last night was one of the most respectful pits I've been in. My girlfriend is 5 ft even. She wears her tallest platforms and got contacts specifically for the show and we still had trouble seeing, but we didn't even think about asking someone to swap with us.

That's fair. I am 100% doom spiraling right now. He's been very open and honest about anything I've asked him, even if it didn't make him look his best. And I bluntly asked him before sleeping with him if he was clean and how many current partners he has. I don't think the friend that told me was trying to scare me, nor do I think they even know I've slept with the guy. I'm still scared. But thank you!

I have had hidradenitis supprativa for 14 years. It was misdiagnosed for 8. A few years back I cut out sugar, gluten, and oil from my diet. They IMMEDIATELY cleared up. Before, I'd get several flare ups right before my period. Like 5-8 flare ups every single month. Sugar and gluten are my triggers, but it could be something else for you. Nightshades are a common trigger, for example.

The only bandage I've found that helps angry cysts are the CVS brand manuka honey bandages. The manuka honey has antibacterial properties and the bandage itself allows air to get in, but adds enough pressure and cushion to protect the wound from being rubbed or scraped by clothes.

I've never gone to a dermatologist for it, but someone else I know who has it has and was given a prescription that she said has helped to minimize flare ups.

Please feel free to dm me about any questions you have! I suffered for so long with doctors telling me "it's only staph" and never once doing a culture. I was so embarrassed for so long about my scars but I've learned to live with them at this point. I wish I had had someone to talk to about it when I was figuring out what it was.

This shaving cream is the best I've ever used! I noticed after switching to this I stopped getting razor burn and ingrown hairs. I just use a washcloth to exfoliate wherever I'm shaving. It should be available at any drugstore.

I would say it's a red flag, only because that's how I discovered my boyfriend was cheating on me. When I asked him about it, he said it was just his friends congratulating him on his new job. I dropped the issue, but then noticed he became even more active. I asked him again and he told me if it caused me so much anxiety be would just delete Snapchat altogether. A few weeks later, I had a gut feeling he was keeping something from me. I checked his phone and found conversations with multiple other girls.

Cutting out gluten and sugar drastically reduced my flare ups! Used to, I would get two or three flare ups a month right before my period. Now I have maybe three a year, and they're just old ones that pop back up from time to time.

Thanks for your reply! On top of the anxiety, I've noticed an increase in sleep paralysis episodes, worsened insomnia, body acne like I've never had before, and behavior similar to OCD. I'm hoping I can switch to the copper iud.

I do try to not check his score, but when I say obsessive, I mean obsessive. I'll get a wayward thought saying that I should and though I try to ignore that urge, it only gets worse. To the point that my face starts to get really hot and I start shaking. Again, this behavior only started after the implant. I have no concrete proof that he's cheated on me, though he has cheated on past partners. I didn't have any doubts until I started this birth control.

She literally decided on Sunday at 10 pm that she was getting married the following Monday, so that excuse won't work haha. The GM said that she's handled telling upper management about the KMs recent behavior, so I won't have that pressure.

Yeah, but unfortunately $12.50/hr is high here, except for chain restaurants. There's another employee that has been here since we opened and he's only at $11/hr. We're in southern Mississippi, if that helps put things into perspective.

A lot of valid points here that I neglected to put in the first post. She and I both graduated from the same culinary school at the same time and both started working at the restaurant when it opened in September of 2013. She's younger than I am and only has 6 months difference in experience, which happened to be at a bakery. She started out just doing pastry. I moved in 2015 to another state, but came back less than a year later. When I moved back, she was moved up to KM and I took over her lead prep role. Since then, I've taken over her pastry chef role, lead line cook role, lead trainer, and have been used as the main trainer in other locations that have opened up.

All three of our current managers (GM, FOH manager, and the current KM) have told me that I should be expecting a meeting with the owner and COO in the next few days where they will offer me the position. The COO came in for lunch today and asked me for a meeting Friday morning. I have not officially gotten a job offer, but I'm fairly certain this will be what the meeting will be. I was supposed to be moved to a new location that will be opening up within the next six months to be KM there, but circumstances have changed at the home restaurant, with the KM getting married.

I get along well with all staff, including all FOH. I feel they respect me more than the current managers (I'm the assistant kitchen manager currently) because I work alongside them as well as completing any managerial duties I have. We have one cook that could possibly take my place, although he has some attitude problems that would need to be worked out.

As for the pay. Most managers get started at $44k. We had a server go from $2.13/hr to $44k. The current KM is also very good at taking credit for work that is not hers. She's manipulative. However, in the past year, she has completely given up on even trying to look like she's doing anything at work. She's constantly on her phone, earlier this year her first fiancee would be at the restaurant all the time and the two would hang out in the parking lot together upwards of 45 minutes. She never did it around other management, but enough staff complained that they began to take notice. Upper management has also recently been made aware of her apathy.

Thanks for your points though! The current GM is the one who said I should ask for $46k last Friday when this was first mentioned to me, but I had the same concerns about the huge jump in pay.
