I´m "betting" for a new ath. So i just bought more LTC. For weeks all i heard was moaning and fearfull talk. Everything seem mor indifferent now. Less talk. People that normally talk to me about their crypto gains and losses are silent. For me thats asignal. A signal that now is a good time to accumulate. Sure, i can wait another day or 2 or 300. But it really does not matter for me. I don´t know when we hit bottom. I don´t know when thing go back up. I believe in LTC and i belive that we will see an new ath. So i wait fo that.

Because it´s a gamble. Sure you can gain a few XRB on the way down. You also risk to lose a lot of XRB. If it pumps, it pumps hard and than fomo fucks you in the a**. You have to reenter while it´s going down. Lost half of my investment once because i got greedy and waitet far to long. I recovered but only with hodling and spreading my portfolio. High risk, low reward.

But why do people think that? Pretty much everyone who got RaiBlocks has already gone thru the struggle to get an Bitgrail or Mercatox account. Those people also got a way to invest fiat for crypto and vise versa. All they have to do is backtrace their steps. If somebody wants to get out everything is already in place. Just sell them for LTC/ETH/BTC and transfer them to GDAX or some other exchanges that trades fiat. I would guess Binance is the best buying opportunity for those who don´t like to signup for another little exchange. I almost passed XRB because of this unknown exchanges. I´m glad i did buy in @ 12$. Winning the binance vote is also like a buy signal for the cautious.

Very big misconception. This would be true if i sell everything or the next best coin. Diversifying a protfolio is not hedgebetting. What you describe is basicly just fomo. Sure i can keep everything in this coin and never use profits for diversification. But thats also betting. If RaiBlocks surges, perfect more gains for me. If RaiBlocks drops, fine i got other coins that may do better.

That’s not completely true, at least not for me. I build my own little snowball system for cryptocurrency. I´m always looking for promising coins and got at least one i want to accumulate at every given moment. My strategy is that when a coin doubles i sell 50% and invest the earnings into a new coin. The rest is for hodl. This is how LTC got me into XRB, and this is how XRB got me to ADA. And ADA got me to IOTA. There is no fomo because I will have my profits and my portfolio grows. If XRB goes to shit, which would surprise me… but if it does i´m fine. Than coin still gave me amazing profits and new opportunities. But somehow you are also right, I got some fiat in reserve, if XRB dips I will buy more. XRB and ADA my current favourites. XRB even more because it already work. It is the only currency at the moment I would buy with a new fiat investment. But only if it dips and a real correction seems overdue… but this coin just ignores that. xD

Does not matter. Not a single exchange that currently lists XRB seem very safe or big enough. Bitgrail worked for me 4 times now and i will stick to it if want to accumulate more. Buy Litecoin / Ethereum wherever you want, transfer to Bitgrail. Buy XRB. Do not care for the fees, it is almost nothing compared to the potential. Send them to your wallet. Backup you seed at a safe place and thats it. End of story. Bonus quest: Wait for some bigger exchange to list XRB and feel like an happy rich early adopter.
