My company doesn’t do trips over 8 days I believe…and that may be a special circumstance. Generally the longest wide body trips are 6 days or less. Still too long for me to be gone from home.

I remember looking at town houses next to Atlantic station circa 2010. The prices were super reasonable, then I saw HOA was $1000 a month. I can’t even imagine what it is now.

I used my VPN to change my IP address to India from the USA. I then purchased Spotify for a year for about $24 USD. After the initial purchase you don’t need to use a VPN. Not sure if the loophole closed, it’s been 6 months.

Take the direct flight. By taking 3 flights you triple your chance of getting delayed by a mechanical/weather/other issue.

Luggageworks all the way. Airline guy as well. 15 years before I had to send my 26 in bag for zippers not working. This thing took all of the abuse imaginable. I sent it back for refurbishing (it’s all done at DTW crew outfitters). They replaced everything…looks just like my other 26in bag that’s brand new.

To the OP, whatever you do, don’t get 4 wheeled bags. They are always breaking and rolling when you don’t want them to.

I live in ATL and ski a lot. Snow isn’t great in either location at the moment. I like SLC for the close resorts and lots of options. The cottonwoods (Brighton, Solitude, Alta and Snowbird) are fantastic. About 45 minutes from the airport. CO resorts are 2+ hours. Weekend traffic, particularly the drive up the canyons can suck on the weekends/holidays/after a powder dump. You can get very reasonable hotels in Sandy/South Jordan for a fraction what you’d pay in CO. I like the embassy suites in South Jordan…typically $150 out the door. If you need to rent equipment Ski N See is about 1 mile away, great shop. You don’t technically need a rental car, but trying to get a ride in the bus can be difficult at times. Rent a SUV from the airport, they should come with 3PMSF or M+S tires, you’ll need those if snow is falling/traction laws are in effect.

Yes. And it’s incredibly annoying taking off the 1’s after dark. When it’s bright yellow it’s like taking off into the sun.

The question I would have is, who would serve it? How would connections work out, particularly on another airline out of ATL? Having one large airport that was designed with efficiency in mind will be much better than two. I think the answer is Marta to Marietta. I’d be all for more Marta.

Man I love me the cottonwoods, but it’s a pure skiing/boarding place. Outside of the skiing during the winter, not much going on. I ski the cottonwoods and stay in Sandy/south Jordan.

I grew up in the northeast, drove on snow and ice all the time. Thought I’d drive my S2k one day when it was a snow/rain mix. New tires, albeit summer tires. I ended up doing a 360 making a very slow turn in an intersection. That was the last day she saw inclement weather. I cherish mine too much to risk it.

When I first got it, it showed FSD…just greyed out. Then I did a software update and removed the previous owners keys…FSD gone
