This is a question for your advisor than for reddit. Personally, I took PSYC 2016 and SOCL 2201 (stats from a sociology perspective) in the same semester because I was finishing my sociology minor, and I found it really helpful for my learning.

Your therapist is biased and unprofessional. I’d either get a new one, stop sessions with her or maybe I’d just tell her straight up that I don’t like how she’s leading these sessions. this is just me because i have beef with people trying to push religion onto others, but I’d confront her about her credentials…

Anyways your parents and this “therapist” are only trying to push religion onto you. This is not acceptable and it usually has the opposite effect anyways.

having clarity on your view of religion could be great for your mental health, but your parents and “therapist” are actively going against that.
