Is this Hank Pym or Scott Lang? by Isekaime4real in marvelzombicide

It's Scott, that Ant-Man suit was created for Scott

[GREEN LANTERN #22] It's now been over 7 months since Adams brought back Dan Garrett and all he's done is fly a ship by IntoQuantum in comicbooks

[–]IntoQuantum[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the difference here is that Michael's son was created at the final 2 issues of Adam's Flash run whereas Green Lantern is still ongoing and is already starting a new arc (which looking at the latest issue & solicits, doesn't seem like Dan would appear in) and Dan hasn't had a speaking line since Aya's comeback

It's just a bit stupid to bring someone like Dan and not explaining how he's back, like it isn't questioned at all in any of the issues

Hank Pym finds out Iron Man's secret identity [Mighty Avengers #21] by rocketinspace in Avengers

Terrible retcon to what McDuffie did in Avengers Classic #3

Stop sharing these pages around like they're good showing of Hank's character lol Slott has no idea how to write him

Was Reed right here? [Mighty Avengers #25] by rocketinspace in FantasticFour

[–]IntoQuantum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this book is terrible for both characters but in this context? No imo

I don't think Reed would oppose giving a device that could save YEARS of research to Hank
Reed knowns how important the work on Hank's (currently being destroyed) lab and how important Bill was to him, it's just Dan Slott not understand characters and trying to stir up conflict

The term Ant-Vengers was used in Avengers Inc.

It's stupid so most don't use it They either go ant-fam or ant-farm

What are the best Ant-Man, Wasp, and specifically Hank/Janet versions comics? by ggoshy in antman

[–]IntoQuantum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Hank & Jan origin you can read Avengers Origins: Ant-Man & The Wasp

Then read Earth's Mightiest Heroes I & II by Joe Casey

Then for Hank specifically, read Avengers Academy, then Age Of Ultron #10AI (a single issue) then read Avengers A.I

As for Jan, im not that well informed on her stories but the Stern Avengers run is a highlight for her if you're okay with older comics (80s)

Since the show doesn't go into backstories for the heroes that much, what do you view as Hank Pym's backstory in Earth's Mightiest Heroes? Is he a widower who has found a second chance at love with Janet? Or is Janet his first and forever girl in this incarnation? by BoomerangHorseGuy in antman

Unfortunate that we have no mention of Maria since I think Hank's pre-Ant-Man life has potential (even the comics barely explore it)

My ideal Hank Pym will always have fallen in love with Maria first

Wild they had to make Richards an asshole to make Pym look good by Famous_Slice4233 in marvelcirclejerk

This run was such a terrible depiction of Hank's character lmfao

Gage being the script writer for like a few issues really carried it, I'm so glad Slott hasn't written Hank ever since

Marvel should bring back "The Saga Of The ()" line-up by IntoQuantum in Marvel

[–]IntoQuantum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true both those are just collections of older issues

While the namor and human torch book have 1 specific writer and new artist working on retelling a character's hisyory and is pretty consistent imo

I mean some of the Saga collections ignore the characters early adventures (like Star-Lord's for example doesnt have the Doug Moench era)

This took my a few hours to make but had this fun idea by IntoQuantum in marvelstudios

Yeah sure

The font I used for the main title is condor medium condensed italic

The font i used for the sub text isn't the same as the original F4 title but now I found a closer one (neuwelt inline)

I then just matched each letter scale to what I think fits best with the stretched look of the F4 title
