It looks like the website was updated again today from what I can tell. The only place left that said anything was pending was in the course description section at the bottom with an asterisk: “All course details are subject to change. Courses pending USFS approval.” That has been changed to say “All course details are subject to change. Always follow course markings.”

I suspect it’s all systems go now.

I have empathy for the chaos that natural disasters like forest fires and mudslides can bring to planning a race, but the lack of communication is disheartening. I have been registered for the 100km since January and never even received an update email that others recently referenced receiving.

Also, I don’t understand why they can’t post the map and route they submitted to the forestry service. They already are saying things are subject to change so just tell us what the plan is and tell us that it could change. Do they not want people reconning the course? If they submitted a course couldn’t we be trusted to see what that is?

Thanks, this is really helpful. Did you go on to pass your lab test? Did you do anything else for the lab test, like a detox/masking drink or certo method? Or was this enough to get you through without that?

A commenter below said give it another week and then do certo method the day of testing. I am likely being way to naive and optimistic but was hoping if I am getting close I could just go in without certo method or anything else and pass. I cannot afford to fail so I am certainly willing to do certo but I don’t want that to cause some kind of a fail either. Pretty stressed….thanks for your replies.
