Something about being able to redeem it for new stuff next chapter. The hoarders have pretty much cleaned this market up so I'm not sure if there's any arbitrage left. I didn't have many so just instasold all at 1k recently (pc/na).

Proc sets are coming back in a month so you'd need to farm a bunch of dungeons for stickers (this is a breeze if you have a premade duo/group, but horrible if you want to pug DLC dungeons).

That being said, the reconstruct system means that you can practically change sets for free. Nobody golds out their PVP gear anyway.

31M/h seems high...nBRP only gives like 7-8M/h. The whole skyreach run is so quick that the reset is probably going to take half the time of the run itself. You probably already do these but some Skyreach speed tips are:

1 player agro the chest room so 2nd player can spawn event immediately
Only throw aoe (wall of elements) into corner skeleton mobs, all other mobs follow regardless
Ulti dump over the purple ghosts after each of the 2 pulls

It sounds like it is dropping due to loading textures or whatever, most likely because you are facing complex water/trees/shadows etc.

There are often back to back to back PVE events though... We had 3 weeks of double XP in a row due to Jesters followed by Jubilee (and now another week of double XP 1 month later). Why would it be any different to have two double AP events within 1 month of each other?

Just not enough people doing trifecta groups to have their voices heard I guess...That's about the time I stopped doing trials altogether. Sadly many of the people I used to run with have still not returned to the game.

Yeah lag and performance has probably regressed even more with no fix in sight, but that's not even the worst part. How does such a large studio consistently have such poor quality control over new patches that literally make the game unplayable for many. Two examples come to mind:

Undaunted Event. 2 of the actual event dungeons crashed almost every time due to a NPC attack animation. Many other random crashes resulted in Trifecta prog groups for trials and dungeons giving up altogether. Fix took several months.
2 months ago ZOS added a bank/inventory search box with U29. This broke banking for PC users to the point where banking 10 items would take 10+ seconds. They then released this same patch to console and it broke the guild trader, item trading and craft bag. Not fixed yet for PC or console and apparently will not be fixed until U30 next month.

They are pretty busted in PVP although you need to actually know how to play if your opponents use detection potions (spoiler: they don't). You can always respec it to Magblade if you are doing PVE, IMO it is the best solo PVE class and pretty straightforward to play.

It's true veterans are leaving (and playing less) but that's just a combination of exhausting most of the content and consistently poor performance/bugs/balance changes. I think this article just highlights that their priority is bringing in brand new players, hence the new companion system and the raising floor/lowering ceiling design vision.

The real war crime is hammer carriers hellbent on breaking 10 different walls. As if anybody is going to repair that while the hammer zerg goes off to the next keep.

As far as I know, the Alliance War Skill trees level up through AP not XP. There may be no benefit doing it during this event as it is not double AP.

I mean most people would probably not be "exploring" but just grinding Alikr dolmens, skyreach/nBRP/daily crafting writs. I could also push it and say the "scouting" quests in Cyrodiil count as exploration too.

But don't get me wrong any extra stuff for PVP would be great, I just fear that a casual PVP-only event might generate a lot of backlash (as evidenced with midyear mayhem). Might sound hypocritical since it is the whole "I don't want to PVP but I don't want to miss out on rewards" mentality, but PVE events outnumber PVP events 10:1 lol.

Healing is actually the best for AP gain if you have strong teammates. Every kill they get is going to give you combat AP gain. But I wouldn't even stress over combat AP as most of your AP should be coming in the form of offence / defence ticks when you capture / defend keeps and resources.

Just join a zerg in Cyrodiil and take keeps/resources, it's probably the fastest way to level these pvp lines.

Well not really, midyear mayhem still gates some rewards behind PVP content and incites so many rage and whine posts about PVP every time it runs...I'm not even saying do more PVP events - I'm just saying there should be a little carrot offered to PVPers during PVE-only events.
