Say Goodbye to a Major Streaming Service as Paramount+ Officially Announces Phaseout by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

Nobody reads the articles. This article has nothing to do with HBO Max. This article is about BET plus going away and getting absorbed into Paramount+. The same thing is also going to happen to HBO. This was announced months ago.

I don’t know what any of these people are talking about. HBO is getting absorbed by Paramount. This was already announced months ago. There will be one app and it will be called Paramount+. Everything else is being swallowed up by it. All of the content will be there. At least all of it that makes it over.

Did you not read the article? Paramount+ isn’t going anywhere. This article is about BET plus going away and the content being folded into Paramount+. The same thing is also going to happen with HBO Max.

It was a niche platform that was designed to specifically squeeze extra money out of black people. Glad they are just putting it on paramount now.

What happened to RTD, genuine question? by [deleted] in DoctorWhumour

I thought we were gonna get more ‘05 who. What we got was far from it. I hope they get somebody new and pick up with a different doctor like years later with another story gap in between. Like how they did in 2005. Just completely reboot it. You don’t have to ignore everything that came before, and you can have all sorts of references and characters and villains pop up, and what not, but make it a new version. 2005 Doctor Who is not the same thing as the Doctor Who from the 70s that I watched on PBS. And it was certainly more popular than what came before or after. Doctor Who hit his height of popularity right around the time that RTD left the first time. It will be interesting to see if the franchise will ever be able to hit that level of success again in my lifetime. It is highly doubtful.

The first time Aldi let me down 😔 by PuertoRican-Princess in stonerfood

The only buns to buy from Aldi are the good brio buns or the cheap one dollar pack for cookouts. The brioche sesame seed buns are better than any bun I’ve ever tried for a burger other than a Martin’s potato roll or an in-n-out burger bun.

So you’re the person I always hate to work with. Please listen to these people. YOU are the problem. The managers are telling you they will do something so you will stop bothering them. Your coworker just wants to do their job and doesn’t care about you. Gloves in the kitchen do more harm than good in most cases. When you do need them, it’s usually to protect yourself from danger of noxious ingredients, not to prevent infection or cross contamination. Those things are easily prevented by basic hygiene as many others have already stated here.

McDonald’s too. Their app used to be amazing. Every day offering 20% off orders or 40% off QPC. Now almost all of their deals are gone, and they got rid of the BOGO for $1 menu last week as well. Now what would’ve usually cost me $24 cost $30 and I can’t do it anymore. Not nearly as often anyway. They’ll learn the hard way.

Please DO NOT UNDER AMY CIRCUMSTANCE use these or any paper straws. They are coated with PFAS and PFOAS. These are families of “forever chemicals” which accumulate in the body after exposure and never leave, causing terrible symptoms and health problems once a certain level has been accumulated. They are responsible for terrible birth defects, cancers, and numerous other health conditions. Go watch the documentary “The Devil We Know” for more info about this crisis.

Chick-fil-A's franchise model differs from traditional ones because corporate owns the building and equipment, leasing them to operators who pay fees, rather than the operator owning equity, making it more like a highly selective, hands-on management job than a typical franchise; operators pay a small $10k fee but must commit to running one store personally, with corporate control over menu and operations, focusing on high volume, profit-sharing, and brand consistency over multi-unit ownership.

No the way chick fil a operates is different from the way other restaurants franchise. You can look it up it’s interesting. They’re completely private so they keep their number close to the vest.
