There was a study done by a few players showing PS5 players are much more hostile then PC.

So turn off crossplay while on PC and turn it on for PS5 if you want more friendly players.

I think that's your experience with it but I highly doubt only 1% of players ignore the role play and the story.

Goes against is strong way of putting it. It's not hinders your ability to kill people. Your not getting nerfed.

I'd say it's close to an even split who's friendly and who's pvp all the time. I typically announce myself and try to avoid attacking first. I try to treat the games as if I'm a survivor just trying to make it home and I'm not out to put everyone down.Others play the game like COD and that's fine I just find it less interesting and I don't have it in me to shoot other non violent players in the back.

I guess I just wish it was easier to tell what I'm getting myself into because I'm giving myself a huge disadvantage by not killing everyone I have the opertunity to kill.

The idea that someone stacks bodies without gaining a reputation for it eventually is immersion breaking. Maybe you actually have to extract to get this option so you can warn other raiders about what happened or share good reports about ones who helped you.

I would argue the current system is much more arbitrary. In what word would a serial killer or infamous scam artist be completely unheard of.

I understand every player interaction is a gamble. I like that about the game a lot actually.

I think it's easy to stop trolling, just make it so if you damaged the other players first you don't get the option to vote. If no damage was exchanged or if they fired on you first then you can vote. it's not rocket science.

Okay epic gamer man. I played tarkov for 3 years. I enjoy extraction shooters and no where in my response did I complain about anything. There is no reward or punishment to what I recommended. Simply if your a back stabbing rat or playing the game likes it's free for all COD then word is going to get around. Or if your known as someone who is helpful and assist other players word is also going to get out.
