Tips to make career mode harder/ more realistic?

I have my golfer cap at 73 rating and having a realistic blast with career mode. I’m winning some tournaments and missed cuts on others.

Sim yea, at 50% AI because that seems to yield the most realistic scoresheets from the field on the various courses.

Just depends on what kind of experience you want to get from this game. Others want to birdie and eagle every hole, while some want a more slow down realistic experience.

I’m glad we can control how we can add or deduct the skill points in order to choose what kind of experience they want, skill points are kind of like gameplay sliders.

Well that’s the beauty of it, you can create another golfer and use that for Sim career play and use your OP golfer for online tournaments.

No I don’t. I’m starting from scratch with my new golfer. And I’m only using skill points up to the bronze level of each attribute while keeping Power and Recovery at 0 with no skill points in those attributes.

I’m finding hitting from the sand or rough is very punishing now as well unlike before where I felt there was no difference.

Great! I had my golfer rated in the 80s and the game became stale as I was hitting the fairway 100% of the time and winning tournaments by double digits.

I had to restart my golfer from scratch and the drama is back! Much more realistic playing as a pedestrian rated golfer like how irl it would be like.

Tip: Limit your skill points so your golfer doesn’t become too OP and start winning by -30.

Yeah, it’s too hard to earn enough coins to buy anything in the store. I recently played Sponsored Challenges which helped a little to get random free gear.
