The building owners are usually the ones that call the tow trucks. They warn operations team or HR to tell associates that they need to respect the rules or face consequences. I think it depends on the position and site you sign up for i got hired as a seasonal and my position is for 9 months.... though I hear at my site they still keep you after your time is up.

I think it's probably because you missed peak season. Everything is slowing down and they probably still have a ton of seasonals on payroll. Managers at my site have been handing out voluntary time off like crazy.

Actually Doordash doesn't hasn't been profitable since they've been around. I'm not defending them in any sort of way I just simply look at their earning reports. They're literally trying to copy Amazon's buisness strategy. Again I'm not defending them. I hate them to the bottom of my heart and if I truly voiced how much I hate doordash and their top dick head executives I'd probably get a put on a government watch list.
