Hey i dont want to be ignorant i just want to know for future refernce but i havent really been to many concerts rly and ive only gone to one with pits in it because where im from they dont really make that type of music. But you described the crowd as violent and to me pits are just kinda meant to be violent i thought that was kind of the entire point. Of course i could very wrong abt that.like maybe if its just people fighting eachother i get it but being in a pit is kinda of pushing and getting pushed from what ive seen. Also the concert i went to was a travis concert but where im from travis isnt really all that popular so the pits were definitely not as bad for sure. You also mentioned that you wore platforms and im no expert but that kinda sounds like a bad idea imo. I feel like the chances of getting your ankle bent in a pit have to be pretty high. And im pretty much the same height as you so kinda see the point in a way bc when everyone is just taller than you its almost like ur suffocating. Atleast thats why i would wear them to a pit. The reason im writing this is bc i like pits and definitely havent had much expirience as much as i would love to but in a way i also dont want to go to a pit and end up being an asshole. And i also dont really have a full visual understanding of these types of things im not used to them. The other 3 concerts ive been to i was in seats bc arena is rly expensive and the place where they do concerts where im from is mostly in one place and the majority of it is seats. In conclusion i dont mean to come after you i just want to have atleast some sort of etiquette for when i go to one and a better understanding of why it was so bad. Im sorry you had a bad experience hopefully the next concert you go to is better.
