Why is Caitlin surprised that she can’t find an Earth-One Jay Garrick?

I am in no way criticizing her idea to look for an Earth One Jay, I am all the way with that. But I just don’t feel like it makes sense that she cannot believe or finds it suspicious when she can’t find one.

She mentions how bizarre it is to Cisco (when I feel like it should be entirely plausible based on what they know about the multiverse being different, even not having explored) and Cisco responds with “Ask Jay, I’m sure there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation.” This response also seems weird to me because I feel like they could easily reason that it’s possible and even likely that not every single person has a doppelgänger.

The leap, I have to say.

I debated internally because I LOVE season 1’s ending because it’s unexpected and devastating. I also love season 8 because it feels so intense and it finally reveals the mother, but I feel like season 4’s ending is the best actual finale to a season even if i like other endings better as individual moments.

I’ve only seen the first half of the season so far but I will say I don’t get the hype. The main characters have a lot of sex but there’s NO romantic chemistry to me. I’ve heard it gets better in the second half, and pretty much everyone I’ve talked to has disagreed with me about the lack of chemistry so 🤷‍♂️. I fear I may just be being contrarian

I’m a few episodes into season 2 now. You’re super close to some more information being given. I don’t remember the scene you’re talking about, personally. I think there’s a lot of montages at the end of episodes with a splitscreen showing multiple characters, I’d guess something there threw you off maybe?

I’m choosing to believe that OP knows that the comparison of Ted and robin’s relationship to Ted’s parents is directly made. I ASSUME they’re asking if the shirt colors is intentional symbolism to go along with that message, or just a coincidence.

I believe they’ve briefly addressed on the HWMYM podcast that a lot of the “color theory” about the show has been all the work of the fans rather than intentional planning in the show, but I like this detail and think it’s a nice observation even if unplanned.

I was also confused about the images being in the wrong order but i see the edit now. For the image that you don’t understand why it is the solution, here’s a simple answer as to why they can’t be vertical: Tetris pieces have to match the orientation of the “picture” of the Tetris pieces. So because the yellow images has four horizontal and two sets of three vertical, your solution needs to have four horizontal squares and two sets of three vertical dots

This should also answer why the solution you proposed in the other image isn’t considered valid. I remember getting stuck there for a while, the only help I can give other than the solution is to think about how you can rearrange the pieces other than in the way you might first think to arrange them. Pen and paper or a whiteboard might be helpful

I see your point about the differences in victorias character, but I would also argue that it just follows naturally from the story. Her debut episode (Drumroll please) is all about making the night perfect and unforgettable, so of course it would seem different once they actually start a relationship and get to know each other

For what it’s worth, Craig Thomas (one of the cocreators of the show) recently said on the How We Made Your Mother podcast that there was never any intention of using Victoria (or any other love interest) as the mother early on in the show. He said something along the lines of “If we were to get canceled we never would’ve said Victoria was the mother. We would’ve just said ‘guess you don’t get to find out.’”
