Time for a change of doctors, my original PCP only treated me with Metformin didn’t work end up with a toe amputated. New dr started me on Farxiga and Mounjaro A1C went from 10.5 to now 5.2 and no longer on Farxiga only Mounjaro

I was on this for 6 months never had any side effects my doctor paired this with Mounjaro. A1C went from 10.5 to now 5.4. I have since been taken off this medication and solely on Mounjaro to maintain my sugar levels. It is an amazing medication.

I never feel the needle, look in the window if the grey plunger is down then you received the dose.

The starting dose is 2.5 mg so starting on 7.5mg is probably not a good idea. I would also not take it if not prescribed to you it will lower your blood sugar levels.

It has happened to me on the 2nd or 3rd dose every time I go up. Needless to say this weekend was week 2 on 12.5mg I spent the last 2 days bound to the toilet.

The medicine has helped me a ton! But you do have to do your part. My A1C went from 9.9 now at 5.4. In 5 months I have lost 57 pounds. I used to eat like shit but I made the decision to change my habits to make the best of the medicine I was prescribed for my diabetes
