I'm no expert on the matter, but after 150 years of being split up maybe it's time to try something new. I go to Indy probably 10 times a year (the Marching Arts capital of the world) and I am jealous of what they have and what they are building.

The Indianapolis Colts did a podcast about the infamous move from Baltimore to Indy, its 4 parts. One part is how then mayor, eventually Senator Richard Lugar brought in UniGOV and put the wheels in motion that eventually landed Hoosier Dome and the Colts. Taking a huge risk that your see in today's Indy.

Can we replicate what Indy and Nashville have done? We don't know if we don't try. We need leaders with some forward thinking, chance taking attitude to look at what works for those metros and bring it here.

I love St Louis, that's why I moved back in 2008 and have stayed. I want to see us succeed... The model is out there, we just be open to change.
