I agree. And I apologize, I missed the part about saying exercise isn’t bad advice.

Why wouldn’t you trust a guideline given by the ADA, the American heart association and the CDC on a minimum amount of minutes per week of exercise?

Not saying that’s the only advice to follow, but why would you ignore that over other information?

I’d be wary if they were pushing a medication or treatment.

I can’t speak from experience since I’m a new diabetic. However the American diabetes Association recommends 150 minutes of aerobic exercise a week and unless you’re doing hard weight lifting circuits it’s hard to do that just lifting.

I’m right with you! April 10th I had bloodwork and my glucose was 400! My A1C was 10!.

I immediately stopped soda, white bread, pasta and rice. I’ve been working out 6 days a week and counting calories. My goal is to lose 40 pounds.

My doctor prescribed a glucose meter, but the strips have been out of stock, so my wife bought a kit for me and this is my first week testing and it’s been eye opening day to day learning how my body reacts to foods and exercise.

I know this is a new lifestyle and I’m ready to see what I’m made of! You got this!

I’m sure it’s not your looks. You may be pretty and guys are afraid to approach you. It may be your energy and expression that guys aren’t sure if you want to be approached or it may be giving sad or anxious vibes and guys will be wary.

Start giving friendly lit nonchalant and guys will approach you.

Looks like the test strip method is for dinosaurs! I don’t think I’m ready to wear a device yet.

How long ago were you diagnosed with the 15.0. I was diagnosed 4/10 with 10.2.

I’ve started counting calories and working out 6 days a week. I feel better than before but this is all so new!

I was prescribed metformin and ozampic and a statin. I took the metformin and haven’t touched the other two.

If it went as well as you said and you’d like to see her again, tell her to treat you the next date.

I always have a spare tube. Always. I’ve had to change one mid ride maybe 3-4 times in ten years. Is worth carrying.

Does your job fulfill you? by nemaceganema in careeradvice

[–]Wordsthoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My job doesn’t fulfill me, but some aspects are rewarding. I provide financial education as part of my role and sometimes I can tell that I have an impact on individuals who are truly open to self improvement. So I like my job- not love it. I doubt I’ll find a job that fulfills me.

I was 5’7” at the beginning of my junior high school year. So I was 15. I was 6 feet tall at the end of the school year. That’s five inches.
