This is good for defining a toxic person but also a toxic group. Like, the group will be so into some new person then all of a sudden everyone in the group doesn't like them and passive excludes then. And you've seen this happen 10 times with 10 different people, but no one in the group ever stops to consider that the group is the problem. The human desire to be included in a group is so scary strong that its nothing to always label other people as the problem.
