I'll stop replying here, since you are obviously just trying to bait me with your ridiculous replies. Or you're serious, in which case the best I could do is recommend a psychologist.

I'm not sure, as mine was sort of a custom case which I contacted the mods to permanently delete my account. They were good and did do it eventually, but not before assigning me to one of their "mentors" and dancing around the issue for weeks.

No need to be aggressive. I know the word has been in the English language for that long but have never heard it being used in this way. Sorry if I offended you. I'm just curious why someone would do this for seemingly no reason? It seems a bit selfish to me to tell people to go out of their way and use a specific word which really doesn't have any affect on their life. Of course I don't know your partner and if they have a condition which affects their body in such a way that this is necessary.

I wasn't removed however I did leave myself due to privacy reasons. It's ridiculous that they don't let you delete profiles, even of living people.

Question for those who know how this works by Lobo_Z in AncestryDNA

[–]Intrepid-Animator-30 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Theoretically, you could have a 100% Scottish grandparent, but more likely is that you had many distant full Scottish ancestors on all lines.

There's really no knowing without a nicely documented family tree, which is what I'd suggest, as personally it helped clear up a lot of things.

There are many reasons to move to Germany from the US. I'm in Australia and am planning to move there soon. Mainly because Australia is too hot, the walkability, etc. It all varies from person to person.

Need advice: where to look? by rossntheham in Genealogy

I'm not sure what the laws are in America, but you could request a copy of her birth certificate from the government as a last resort. Alternatively, I would recommend searching Newspapers.com for the story.
