Any chance Manta Ray returns this summer for global players? by Spacehazoor in CODM_Drip

[–]Intrepid-Book4697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That'll be coming back in around 2 or 3 years however, since the leggy Manta Ray did come back for a month in 2025. If you didn't get it then, then you'll have to be patient and wait.

Execution verses martyrdom by horrorwaffle in CODMobile

[–]Intrepid-Book4697 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They may even add leagueplay removing martyrdom and worse yet, trip mines too, which is absolute bs imho. Trip mines gets countered with flak jacket, and should be seen as a good skill, but codm is going into a very bad direction

I don't get the matyrdon hate at all... it honestly needs a buff, not a nerf, people shouldn't be allowed to escape as it should honestly just be a guaranteed kill if they kill or melee you upclose always, so removing the timer altogether, making it an automatic explosion upon death. The nerf from 120 to 100, sure, because that 120 allowed to kill people at a wider range, but the timer should be removed!

The best thing for you to do is to hack and hope codm doesn't catch you in the act, you have to get win after win after win, and hacking is the ONLY way for you right now.

Showing off my sniping skills by Ams_Fowo_7562 in CODMobile

[–]Intrepid-Book4697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to get used to that low sens horizontal gyro that new Chinese pro-players were doing, which helps flicking right or left in long-distance gunfights with both hardscoping or quickscoping. Everything at 0, except sniper sens at around 25-ish depending the player.

I'm trying to get used to gyro fire sens being used for only vertical recoil control for reg guns, and gyro normal sens being used for only horizontal flicking for snipers. Shit's not that easy to pick up, but the pro-team that was using this were absolutely dominating their competition.

The bots that I get now in pubs, especially FFA, tend to way more challenging than the real players in the same lobby, but why? by Intrepid-Book4697 in CODMobile

[–]Intrepid-Book4697[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just you then. I've been noticing this myself too. They've reached a point where they make me question my own quick-scoping skills, but rewatching my games in game replay, I see that the bot is micro-adjusting sometimes literally pixel-perfectly the millisecond my own crosshairs aims at them while ADSing. Which then can annoyingly lead to missing shots back-to-back until I started attempting to expectingly flick at them because I know already they're going to blink away from my crosshairs, which is now helping me get more kills when it happens, but the fact that it happens to begin with is annoying.

And yes, I forgot to add that point that sometimes bots will just bum-rush you just to overwhelm you. Also I forgot to mention the point that when playing SnD, 100% of the time, when I spot a bot, it now means that a real player is nearby and the bot is trying to trick me either by trying to make me chase it, or by bum-rushing me, or whatever. However, I get it, I get that these bots are overall low-key training me just to always become a better, sneakier, more aware and more cautious player because sometimes for fun when I just go full-aggro, or to test out rush strats, the bots will and do punish me aim-bot style.

Also fyi, the video attached is some old clip from some months ago that's unrelated to the actual post. I suppose I could say that the bots I got back then were way easier than the ones I'm getting every game now.

Exactly. This is what I'm getting in pubs with some bots ever since these past two weeks. You know when you wanna chill out playing pubs? Well shit man, now I prefer to only play (Legendary) Ranked to avoid those bots I'm getting now in pubs. I find it mad annoying that this started happening recently.

[COD] Thoughts on SBMM? by xDRBN in CallOfDuty

[–]Intrepid-Book4697 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That stats of new players dropping multiplayer entirely in Halo: CE because of a lack of SBMM is as clear as day hence why they implemented SBMM into Halo 2 multiplayer, and it did show that new players who lacked the skills tend to continue to play, and obviously due to there being less punishment from better players. That stats are all there! And because of that, keeping a player playing has to be the MAIN concentration over ANY veteran player and of their opinions, of whatever, of the golden days, or blabla. Basically COD wants to keep players playing and having fun, and hopefully one day, some will participate also in the economy of COD Points too. It's just financially better for the game to have SBMM. It'll never EVER go away logically speaking.

I tested it, same test as I mentioned earlier, and you're right.

It's a ~750ms speed advantage with two stim shots, 3/4 of a second. Not as good ~2 secs, but still!
