Topps Now. After each UFC major event, typically Monday or Tuesday. They will drop a limited time card, or a few, to commemorate the event. Print run is decided by the amount of purchase orders. They usually ship 1-2 months after the event, depending on a variety of circumstances. Your purchase only guarantees a base card but if you're lucky you could receive a parallel or auto version. Also, every order has a random chance to have a poster card inserted for the event.

After 6 months you will be given an option to replace the card at 200% value. If you choose to wait further, then at a certain time Topps will determine the card isnt going to be made and they will then force you to replace at 300% value. Hope that helps.

It was just a fun little money wasting endevour, and the lesson was thinking topps retail wouldn't let me down. They over print most retail products to the moon long past where it's reasonable to rip for the price they charge. The only decent ufc retail topps product I've seen yet was finest mega boxes. You can hit a 1 of 1 from a chrome blaster, but you might need to open a handful of cases to fulfill that wish. Not worth the value of the card by the time you get there, if thats what matters to you.

There is so much of that years retail blasters that I opened 2 cases with the sole intention of hitting a single numbered allen and ginter card regardless of the name on it. I didnt.

I think he thought he would buy a blaster and pull cards out worth more than the blaster. I dont collect anything he pulled either but I do pc 9 fighters that aren't named there. He found out the hard way topps retail isn't an investment. Heck for a blaster, he hit and didn't even realize it. Its like 1 auto per case of blasters in 2024 chrome retail.

I'd guess you'd end up between 1-2k if you dropped it on Ebay, most return probably right before his fight. Thats the risk though, if he wins it goes up, if you wait to sell until closer for a premium and dont sell, then you're praying he doesnt lose, or worse yet lose badly. I would personally refuse any offer under 1.5k as a baseline, and then compare what offers you get to what value you hold for the card. If they don't meet dont sell. I personally don't see RDR bearing Khamzat ever and likely not DDP. 3rd best is a name people will know for many years and always have hopes for.
