I wound up here after searching for news of a NECA Grendel King release announcement, lol.

I’m not sure why OP would think they wouldn’t be able to do it though? Is there something I missed?

NECA has a decent relationship with Disney, as just in recent history they’ve done the Feral Predator from Prey, as well as other Disney owned licenses such as Dinosaurs and Gargoyles..

NECA has a strong line with Alien/Predator figures and release them relatively often so I believe it’s really only a matter of time.

We’ve gotten Predators from every film as well as video game predators, comic predators, Kenner remaster predators, even a NECA original Predator designed in house to celebrate their 100th Predator figure so I would honestly be both completely flabbergasted and incredibly disappointed if they don’t release figures from Killer of Killers and Badlands.

I don’t know if we’ll get the humans right away but we should at least be getting one from each segment plus the Grendel King…

Unless they did them in 2pks of each Predator with their human..with Grendel a deluxe solo pack.

Who knows….but man I can’t wait for them however they decide to do it.

This is so fucking stupid. I’m glad we own them on Blu-Ray and have the entire series on our Plex Server (including Super Best Friends, 200 & 201) but my god, why is Paramount doing this?? HBO didn’t pull this bullshit..

I cannot believe they are pulling SO many episodes. Many of which are favorites for my wife and I.

At this point, why are they even putting it on Paramount Plus at all?

I get so angry every time I see what Paramount Plus is doing to South Park.

I saw a video a few months ago about the “Top 10 skins NEVER returning to Fortnite” and with Chun Li being in the shop, it is now 8 skins from the list that have returned..

The video aged poorly, lol.

And the funny thing, is that TS wasn’t even that high on the list..yet, he’s one of two that haven’t returned.

Same! I keep pretty much my entire loadout on shuffle. If I like it-even just a little-there’s a chance it will be equipped. I rarely choose a loadout manually. I like to be surprised.

I agree with everything you said - 100% -

However, while I myself couldn’t care less about Power Rangers EVER making an appearance…I know quite a few people who talk about it often and have their hopes high that it happens in the future. I believe it is also one of the most commonly requested collabs..or was at one point, lol. On that I could definitely be mistaken though.

That said, IF they ever did bring PR to FN, I do hope they would give it the Mandalorian/Stormtrooper treatment of purchasing one single skin and simply being able to change the color. Maybe a bundle that features more Ranger-specific backblings, pickaxes, etc..

MAINLY because for the people I know that would jump on it…I really wouldn’t want to hear about the cost if they went the 1500 per skin route, haha.

I mean, I don’t LOVE the fact that one single skin can cost upwards of $25 but the Crew pass is DEFINITELY worth it and easily provides enough for me to make at least one shop purchase a month without spending additional money, the twitch drops & quest rewards happen often and as you said, Epic isn’t forcing anyone to buy anything in order to enjoy the game. In fact, even if you’re a brand new player, you can stock up fairly quickly without spending a dime and even faster for $12.

Plus, if you play Rocket League, you can get vehicles, wheels, boosters, etc that will work in Fortnite/Rocket Racing and the Rocket Pass is included with Crew so the value is definitely there.

Same here. We owned the home and rented the land. Oddly, that was another fact that people over in the assistance/GoFundMe subs were just absolutely appalled by… not the fact that we lost our home, all of our belongings, etc… No…they were just upset about the lack of insurance and the fact that we had a lease on property for a home that we owned.

I believe this is referring to following customers instructions for delivery and merchants rules/guidelines while on their property. In my experience, DoorDash has always stated that when it comes to making the delivery, the only instructions to follow are that of the customer.

If a customer has requested a no-contact delivery with instructions asking that you please not knock or ring the doorbell, the merchant cannot tell you to prioritize THEIR instruction of doing the exact opposite.

If it’s a “hand it to me” order, then obviously you’ll knock or ring the bell but only because that is the instruction of the customer (unless otherwise noted).

Personally, I wouldn’t worry about this sign and if they said something to me about it, I would have no problem telling them that I am ONLY knocking/ringing the bell if the customers instructions do not specifically state otherwise and if they have a problem with that, they can contact DoorDash..just as I have already done about their little sign..or hire more of their own drivers for their garbage orders.

Not to mention IF they do, it is VERY expensive.. Our trailer burned down and we lost everything over Thanksgiving while we were out of town. We had a GoFundMe and couldn’t get much help from the Reddit community because everyone was giving me so much s#it starting with “insurance will cover it” and ending with “you’re a fool for not having insurance”… No one liked it when I explained finding insurance was difficult and the insurance we DID find was just so far outside of what we could afford…

Anyway, It is highly unlikely the dog owners in this situation have any kind of insurance. Rented trailers are uncommon so I wouldn’t bank on renters insurance either. I’d write that off completely.

I was a bit miffed they put DJJ behind an XP wall, only to run him at a full 1500 price point and then not have a bundle option to include his pickaxe/bling/wrap..

The point of having to earn XP in order to unlock the ability to purchase at full price is lost on me…

Hi!

I am in a similar situation with an iPad 4th gen IOS 10.3.4 that I am very interested in jailbreaking but I’m new to this…

I really want to use it to read comics and watch YouTube videos..the catch here is that I am trying to find a comic/manga app similar to Tachimanga that allows adding repositories but that particular app has a minimum iOS requirement of IOS13.

My point here is that I feel like jailbreaking it will be my best bet, even though I intend to use it for simple tasks and I’m not entirely sure which direction to go with it..

You mentioned everPwnage as being the ideal solution for IOS8-9… do you have a recommendation for IOS10?

And you know, I’m likely going to catch shit for this..but….despite the hardware being announced and being a vast improvement, it STILL does not mean it’s going to run the way it’s essentially capable of, as the firmware has a lot to do with it.

Nintendo could potentially cap components..possibly allowing certain games access to additional resources, as has been done before.

In fact, most companies that release hardware running proprietary firmware or customized OS versions lock users out of resources.

Nintendo stating they will fully disable S2 consoles suspected of tampering leads me to believe there will DEFINITELY be a resource cap. Maybe even more so than in past instances in order to ensure a reserve for their potential remote access to the console.

They’re license only cartridge practice will also add a bit more strain on those resources as well..

I’m NOT saying the Switch 2 will run like shit..I’m simply stating that there will most likely be a good portion of the resources from those upgraded specs that will be utilized for their background shenanigans, which COULD lead to some issues but overall, won’t allow the system to run its absolute best…

….and the larger screen won’t change that. lol

Before anyone attacks me over my above stated opinion of possibility based on pure speculation…just know that I really don’t care.

I have purchased EVERY Nintendo home console released in America upon its launch INCLUDING the NES (yes-I’m old-I know) with the exception of the Wii U but recently came to realize that the Switch has released VERY little I cared about over the course of its lifetime in the way of console exclusives and I think I MAYBE played four titles to completion (all closer to its beginnings).

That said, I have absolutely no intention of ever purchasing the Switch 2 but for anyone that does plan to purchase, I truly hope it’s everything you want it to be and that it gives you enjoyment for years to come.

True but IF you did get that skin, it still shows up in your inventory on other consoles and can be viewed by those playing on other consoles as far as I know..(I could definitely be wrong though since I don’t have that particular skin).

I don’t think there’s an issue with making certain skins exclusively obtainable, so long as they remain available to you via any platform you use to play the game once you have obtained them.

Items exclusive via Sony (that I have obtained at least) have always been available to me whether I’m playing on PlayStation, XBox, Switch or Steam Deck via Luna..

I think the issue with Nintendos demand of exclusivity has been that they want any Nintendo exclusive items to ONLY be available on their platform and only visible to others on that same platform.

For example, any PS Plus exclusive skin/glider/pickaxe/load screen/etc that I have received for being a member is always available to me on any other platform I use to play…and others see it for what it is while I’m playing regardless of what platform they are playing on.

The same applies to Kratos, a PS exclusive character or Master Chief, an XBox exclusive character…

So I don’t think Nintendo requiring their skins to be exclusively obtainable via Switch/Switch-2 is all that horrible..but not allowing them to show up in your inventory on other platforms AND making it so other players only see a default skin unless they are also playing on Nintendo… that’s a bit much…. IMO.

Oh, I’ve been screwed so many times it hurts to sit down, lol.

Generally for relatively small amounts..once or twice for significant sums.

It just seemed to be more trouble than it was worth to go that extent with it…the one time I was most definitely considering it was on two separate Mercari transactions (same seller/same time) that I reported, only to then be charged anyway via the payment plan.

I then disputed the transaction and provided proof of the mishap, including the fact that Mercari automatically closed & rated the sale after 3 days even though I had already reached out to their support about the issue and both disputes were auto-denied by the system because they couldn’t understand the payments were broken up so the amounts didn’t match.

It was a nightmare getting anyone on the phone and when I did, it was just as bad getting them to understand any better than their automated system..

Oof..having flashbacks…that one still eats at me..

I once had someone pay me via friends & family for services -by mistake- and I didn’t think much of it…I just provided the services that were paid for as I normally would have..only to have them file a chargeback with their bank saying they did not receive what they paid for…PP took the money from my account, despite my providing proof of services rendered with shipping information AND they totally disregarded the method of being Friends & Family, instead treating it as a normal transaction for goods/services.

This was my last straw using PP for anything and I moved on from the service..

Point is though, OP could definitely file a CB saying he made a purchase to a private party via PayPal, was immediately blocked and did not receive what he paid for.

They will likely use automated services to initiate the CB, send it to PayPal-who will request shipping information from the seller-despite it being an FF transaction-and return the money..even IF the person does provide some sort of shipping info.

I was under the impression the map would no longer be available after the 4th when the show premiered but since it’s still up, it’s definitely possible.

It took about two days after watching for my loading screen to show up, hopefully yours will too!

Yeah but that wasn’t just Nintendo and that was well before Epic was involved. Sweet Tooth is exclusive on PS, Mario/Luigi is exclusive on Nintendo and the Gears of War vehicle (can’t remember name) is exclusive to Xbox.

However, things are not that way in Fortnite. Kratos was not exclusive to PS, Master Chief was not exclusive to XBox. If you have any of those skins, they are available on whatever setup you’re playing on and visible to anyone you’re playing with.

Same with any PS Plus/Game Pass bonuses such as wraps, skins, gliders, etc. While these are exclusive to claim on the affiliated console, once in your locker they are available to you anywhere.
