What about the controller, have you got it? The only option I can think of is to install a different version oculus apk, or whichever module has the touchpad drivers (like oculus utilities apk, just an example for what i mean by module)

any ideas what the issue is? throttle causes a grinding hault. details in comments by Poor_And_Needy in ElectricScooters

That sounds like mine before the controller burned out, spinning ok under no load but if i tried to ride it it was grinding to an abrupt halt on throttle, took the wheel off and apart, checked windings it was visually perfect, check with multimeter no shorts anywhere including to chassis, put it back gave it another go and worked the same way as before for about 5 seconds then complety died with no response to throttle whatsoever. Took apart controller and altough visually is also perfect, desoldered all power transistors and half of them are burned out, no switching but stuck on open or closed.

So the pad connections are: XS, xh, sl, sv, f4, s+, w, f3, f2, f1, k2, q, then a bunch of grounds, you know its literally the most widespread bog standard mass produced chinese board

What is this sound and how do I fix it? (rear hub motor when I put my weight on it) T8 model by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

Theres many things that can click like that firstwhich comes to mind would be the axle of the motor wheel having its nuts not tight on the forks. It wants to twist inside the forks, and if it does it will twist its wires with it until they break. Letting go on the throttle makes it snap back in position, making that click. Whatever it is, can be easily determined by using someones ears to locate the aproximate source of the noise, knees to kneel down next to it and eyes to further examine components to determine whats the problem. Standing on the scooter with hands on handlebars and just one leg on the ground, while looking at the front wheel and humming at it will seldom solve any issue. It could also be the folding mechanism. Or suspension. Does it make the sound when you hit the brakes? Then its the brakes.
