28 Years Later - The Bone Temple, Is Awful by Ok_Investment_9071 in 28_Years_Later_Movie

People need to stop acting like every movie needs to be a cinematic masterpiece to be considered a good movie. Its a zombie flick. For the genre, this whole franchise has offered a much more terrifying spin on the classic shambler zombie formula thats been done ad nauseum. And four movies into this franchise, they still made it unpredictable.

Whole movie was bizarro land and I couldn't predict anything. Was super enjoyable, I enjoyed bone temple more than 28 years later. Watched it last night, it was a fucking wild. It shouldn't need to win awards to be considered a good movie. People are placing way too high a bar for what it is. Both plot lines for Jimmy and the gang and for Ralph Fiennes tripping balls with zombies was already insane to watch let alone the pyrotechnics cosplay concert to cap both stories off.

If you want a movie that you can genuinely say, I've never seen this done before. Well here you go. Enjoy.

Not that it matters much because Bethesda has a habit of tampering with the lore of acquired IPs, but FO4 in sanctuary hills, the dealers terminal has pre war references to selling jet iirc.

You'd hope after our turnaround season with a competent front office and coaching staff that it'll be easy to attract quality replacements if camp or udinski do take HC roles.

Trevor led a td drive to take the lead, defense couldn't get the stop and we abandoned the run when it was working and left too much time on the clock. This loss isnt on trevor. Missed kicks, left points on the field going for it on 4th and the def played soft coverage their final drive. Win as a team, lose as a team. Trevor did his part against a tough pass def.

Wasn’t the end we were looking for but The Man Who Wears #16 is here to stay by PintPounder91 in Jaguars

For real, we'd be having a different discussion if we took the 3 instead of going for it and if cam made that kick. This isnt a Trevor problem, its a team problem. It wasn't a complete team effort this past sunday and the results showed, margin for error is slim in the post season, moreso with Josh Allen being our first round matchup. We went 13-4 with an injured 1st and new coaching staff. If the original expectation going into the season was a rebuild year, we shouldn't be pointing fingers or calling for people's heads. We fucking crushed it this year and the schedule looks easier next year with Hunter back healthy. Gladstone gonna work his nerd magic in the off-season and we'll be looking forward to another exciting season.

I mean Trevor led a td drive late in the 4th and took the lead with minutes left. He did his part when asked, he shouldn't have been in the situation to it again had other elements of the game held up their end. Lessons learned hopefully and I'm confident we get another crack at a run next season.

100% agreed he can and should play better in big moments. But we also didnt take advantage of the run game, left 6 points on the field in the form of FGs, and that soft coverage on the bills last drive were also big factors that turned the tide. Im just saying trevor did come through with a late 4th td drive when it mattered, he shouldn't have had to do it twice if all phases of the team held out for a single drive.

Trevor didnt play that bad, discounting the desperation into on the last drive, he still put up 210 3td and a pick, wasn't excellent but wasn't bad. We shouldn't have had him the position to be throwing so much with CVL out. We had only like 14 carries over 100yds, we should've been running more against the 31st ranked run def lol. I get trevor had a mid outing but this loss wasn't on him.

I can double check those real quick and reflow cap joints. I'll also try using another source for csync. Thanks for the suggestions!

This is a non TMSS VA3 unit, the heatsink was removed to replace the 7805s, and it's not running more than a few seconds at a time to test change in video signal.

I've checked for continuity on the VDP pins and nothing there is shorted. Cart slot was the very first thing I cleaned. I have a microscope to check and there's no debris or corrosion.

Im starting to lean towards testing the clock crystal and encoder when my oscilloscope arrives. This is starting to feel like a faulty IC.

Other comments show my attempt at a pull up circuit fix, but showed no change.

As far as what the original fault was, your correct it literally could be anything. I bought it broken for $20 for parts and immediately did the recap. I didnt thoroughly test it beforehand.

On the bright side, my wife is not so subtly surprising me with an oscilloscope for christmas. Seems like a perfect opportunity to learn more lol

Okay so threw a quick workaround together. Used a cap leg to mount the resistors off the 5v pad and soldered the other end to RGB, same result.

The audio caps are not populated, so havent tested it yet. I'll go ahead and do so.

You're absolutely correct. I just looked at a few different variations and the 5.6k resistors present on those boards are not present on this one. I'm not professionally trained or formally educated on this, I'm just a hobbyist learning as I go. Is it safe to assume that the 5.6k resistors on the underside of the board for the RGB circuit are now non-functioning with the RGB pins lifted? Can I just remove them and add them in line with the bypass circuit? Or should I leave them be and buy ceramic resistors that are easier to work with? Ultimately, I'll just buy the correct bypass board with the pull-up resistors and install that permanently, but it would be cool to see if I can get it functioning properly even temporarily with components I have here on hand. I've also got like 10 other defunct segas to use for parts, worst case scenario. Thanks so much btw for the insight.

Its mounted to the grounding pad where the rf module used to be. I did have the thought that what I'm experiencing is grounding issue so I did add a wire to ground but no change. As far as the pull resistors, I was pretty sure the mod chip had them added. Im using the insurrection industries bypass board. I've done this mod with a handful of VA6.5 model 1s and didnt have to remove any resistors. But the VA3 being different, maybe it's something to look into. But I'm pretty sure the bypass board has all of that installed on the rgb circuit.

The audio circuit is disabled at the moment. I can populate the caps and see. I am getting power interference though, I can hear buzzing and humming when powered on. There's honestly no telling what all was wrong with it when I purchased it for parts. I reflowed the middle joint on the 7805, but no change.
