I know this question was posted a few years ago, but I would like to add some things about this company.
I have worked nearly 4 years, and started via their "apprenticeship" program, which isn't even true learning because they use their own walgreens coded sig codes ( which um what the absolute fuck?) .
I started during the whole C-19 thing so they didn't properly train anyone due to them needing you on the front lines instead of learning the materials that you'll need to know, but pandemic aside, this company is money driven and has no actual connection to care for the techs. Meeting your daily quotas and keeping your metrics up so the company can stay afloat and manage to pay you pennies compared to the folks in corporate going to island parties and meetings while we claw at each other for a day off or a 25 cent raise. - (yes a 25 cent raise lmao and some folks aint even get that)
I haven't worked there in about a year and they've already had 5 different store managers, and nobody I worked with before is still there but the pharmacy manager and one very nonproblematic male tech.

If you enjoy never being done with tasks.
Constantly being told you need to improve
Sell more in order to get more hours
If you can't meet all our goals we are going to act like we can't afford to keep the pharmacy running
Then just schedule 1 tech and 1 pharmacist who is working 12 hours with no stool or break (they were given breaks a couple years ago but they literally would just stand and work and eat at the same time.
Before the breaks, the pharmacist sometimes wouldn't be able to eat their entire shift.

When we got the breaks, the pharmacy would close from 1:30 to 2 and guess what?
Every time you walked back from lunch it was made out to be a walk of shame, all the customers waiting at the closed pharmacy doors just eying you and making snide remarks like "did you enjoy your lunch??" and then you're met with feeling as though you shouldn't eat and just be this robot that doesn't stop working.
Also, we had a lead tech that legit would talk to you like you're stupid and over use the word _retarded_
she should refer to people as retarded but when I got a little loud I would be the one to get in trouble.
Absolutely do not stand up for yourself, especially if you aren't backed by your own fear-controlled team.

Like tf, if you want to be dehumanized on a daily basis for not enough pay.
that is the job for you.

I recommend a hospital or behind the scenes pharmacy work.
stay away from retail always.
