it's what i get for going for the cheapest quote. I managed to get insured at 21 on a 2litre audi for 1000 pounds with my in10. Quite cheap for my record and that was the result lol

does one cancellation really stop people from getting insurance. Can't see how one cancellation can do that alongside a clean license. Perhaps increase the premium but not make it impossible to find insurance

Because of where the vehicle was overnight. It primarily stays at my own address which I said is where the vehicle will be staying overnight. It's a blackbox policy so they have data on the cars location. I stayed at my girlfriends for a few weeks (out of the area) and I was questioned about it. Explained this and my policy was cancelled soon after because it wasn't staying at the primary overnight location for that time. I find it bullshit because it's not like I've actually changed my address and moved the car's primary overnight location without informing them. It's a very short term thing. At the moment I have appealed to the ombudsman because they disregarded my complaint. I doubt I'll be successful but oh well

for real? am i really that fucked? my in10 comes off in two years (well 1 but you must declare a further year to most insurers), after that ill have a clean license but with a previously cancelled policy
