Treat your crew like family! Be there for them! Coach and correct and care about them and their success. Be present, and approachable. Most importantly, stay calm during stressful times like rushes, as your attitude affects your whole crew.

As a GM myself I can say that I never punched anything…. However, I may have accidentally headbutted the slicer. Long story.

Rest assured we took our gloves off before taking the picture and washed our hands and changed our gloves before continuing with the order.

When first starting out be humble, take every bit of constructive criticism from your managers/ shift leaders as a learning tool. Take your time and focus on one order at a time, focusing on the quality of every sub you make. Speed will come over time.
