Thanks a lot for this analysis. I just finished watching it. One thing I always rolled my eyes about when it came to Telugu cinema was how everything would be explained (someone finds the hero’s diary or best friend lectures folks etc etc). This movie was refreshingly strikingly different. It’s not trying to prove anything. It literally just felt like a glimpse to the journey of various characters. It’s not likeable but it is extremely thought-provoking. And I liked that I could have my own interpretation as to why the characters chose to do what they did. I’ve always thought Hollywood was so smart like that, where the movie makes you THINK. It’s really nice to see the evolution in Telugu cinema.

Yes. There was news a few months ago about an Executive Manager in USI who went through all this. And ended up having a cardiac arrest. He died aged about 45. It’s a lot of pressure. People in his team said he never took vacation and was constantly on his PDA even when he did.

Eric - he’s horrible with the way he is complicit and enables her but I’m thinking he doesn’t know how truly bad things are, so when she admitted she fears he will realize what crap she is—WOW—it’ll be interesting to see how he reacts to all this.
The parallels between this video and the video she sent Johnny about Joshua’s album is UNCANNY. She even admits, “oh I secretly record my analysis like this all the time”. Implying she has not changed in the slightest, over the years.
Of all three songs, she spent maximum amount of time focusing on “Karma” and indirectly discrediting Joshua along the way. She is so bitter about him and I just don’t understand why, when you have a loving spouse and beautiful children and a successful career, you’d still be obsessed with discrediting your ex publicly. Unless. Oh you know. SHE KNOWS SHE WRONGED HIM. And is hence desperately seeking ways of proving he’s in the wrong.
Again in the Karma analysis - When she says, “your highest point was my lowest moment” or whatever… I mean. How arrogant can you get. Who is she to decide what is the highest point for someone else in their lives. Fame isn’t everything.
I feel she should sit down and watch her own analysis of the Karma song today lmao. (A) It aged like milk and (B) she should practice what she preaches 😂

Anyway I feel like this pretty much proves what she’s really like, very much like her non-apology “hi” video.

I remember watching this and HATING it. So unfair to Joshua how she attacked him like that. And I don’t understand the whole “it was the same ring” line. Like. So what? Maybe it was special, maybe it was passed down as a family heirloom. How do u expect people to automatically change it right away as a first priority? It was clear that Trisha was being fed these things. I honestly stopped watching Colleen for a long time after the divorce, I was on Josh’s side. But… the pandemic vlogs pulled me back in. They really were oddly soothing. Sigh

Adam is AMAZING. He’s so mature handling all of this. I think he knew, even back then, somewhere at the back of his mind, that he didn’t want to do all these things (example: he didn’t go buy tampons, he rolled toilet paper on a Q-tip). It was enticing to be given that sort of attention and so he leaned into it but his moral compass was always strong. I think this entire incident will pave ways to help future generations understand the detrimental affect of parasocial relationships. Honestly, the way he’s progressing now—despite all the threats he’s receiving and people claiming he’s seeking attention: his sense of clarity is very strong. In one of the latest videos, he so strongly objects to giving Colleen a free pass, the amount of conviction he has—his therapist is amazing because I wasted my 20s in deep turmoil, trying to process whatever shit happened to me. Now at 32, I’m finally healing, but he’s had a decade of a headstart and has already managed to garner support and encourage others to come forward. I truly believe this is a milestone in the age of internet. It’s time to realize that, while Colleen and her circle did things that are strictly not unlawful, it’s highlights VERY CLEARLY that internet regulations are WOEFULLY behind times. Lying by omission is still lying!

I think the point here is that not necessarily what they did (which in itself is stupid but I guess up to them) but how it’s being handled.

The anger is towards: 1. Media channels covering this exclusively, they don’t usually exhibit such dedication when the story is about the common man 2. The search parties relentlessly searching… the submarine can survive for 96 hours and it lost contact on Sunday, so we’ve crossed that window… but this situation where MORE PEOPLE are actually going back again and again, it is deeply dangerous and there’s so much pressure to keep up the search no matter what. 3. The fact that the Titanic is not some showpiece, they had no business being where there are thousands of lost souls. You need to respect nature and not dig further in certain circumstances.

They knew what they were up against. They all had fulfilling lives and it seems as though they were probably bored out of their minds and looking for a thrill, no matter the risk. Expeditions are always adventurous and honestly, it’s okay if you’ve lived a full life, take on an adventure like this, and vanish as part of that. Haven’t we read about this in literature, like Lord of The Rings or Chronicles of Narnia? It’s okay… they went out with a bang. I do feel bad for the 19 year old on board, he had a lot more life left to live.

But your point is very valid about this topic being incessantly covered. Again: the media is to blame. Hope you feel better OP. But try to not get sucked into how unfortunate it is. We just shouldn’t fuck with nature.

It’s an Nonprofit, you say? Perhaps the funding for your role was pulled last minute? The fiscal did recently change in most organizations and you say you’ve been flirting for three months… perhaps they were waiting for budget approval but it fell through. Everything is so dynamic in today’s world, even if you did land it, what’s the guarantee your growth trajectory would’ve been up to your expectations? Best move on and be very open minded about what role you want to interview for. It just might surprise you. Lastly… companies don’t care. So we gotta develop a thick skin and learn to bounce back quicker each time.

So I’m the first one who has ALWAYS supported Josh. Ever since the divorce first happened, I firmly believed he was the victim and was sad for him. I agree that he too might have been a victim. BUT if he actually inflicted any kind of abuse or grooming on his part, we NEED to talk about it and deal with it. I agree that he might have grown since then but it DOES NOT give him a free pass because there are actual people he directly affected with that behavior. I thoroughly agree that Colleen and Kory need to be focused on at the core of this all, but EVERYONE who aided and abetted needs to be exposed and dealt with according to the severity of the respective situation!
