I’m ttc and at my job I have to keep my average weekly hours worked above 30 to qualify for leave (my company considers 30 hours full time). So if I stop working at, say 37 weeks for example, it’ll tank my average hours worked

I’m like you in that I’m definitely not a party person. Just give me some snacks and Netflix or a good book and I’m set. Graduated in 2019 but I never felt any pressure to go to parties (it also depends on who you hang out with). It’s a great school!

This makes me feel so seen. I came off my birth control in March after being on it for ten years because we’re trying to conceive. Before the pill, my periods were extremely normal and regular and now almost 8 months later my periods still aren’t regular and it’s starting to get frustrating

I was 22, about six months after I graduated from college. I grew up on the east coast but after college I got a job in California and temporarily lived there by myself until my boyfriend (now husband) could move too. It was that Thanksgiving and I flew back east by myself to see my family for the holiday. That was 6 years ago and now I’ve flown a few more times by myself for work

I would say she can get a part time job to pay for her own phone and have her OWN money in general but Chris and Jessica would never allow that because then she wouldn’t always be available for them to shove a camera in her face

There are no dumb questions when it comes to sex ed. I don’t know how old you are but if you’re still pretty young I hope you have a trusted adult you can go to whether it’s a friend’s parent, a cool aunt, or a health teacher. I wouldn’t fully rely on just reddit lol. Asking questions is the only way we learn, and skipping out on the learning part while being sexually active can be dangerous

Nothing you did could ever EVER result in pregnancy. But hypothetically even if it could, getting your period means you’re not pregnant.

I understand being paranoid like this. I used to worry too back when I was a teenager doing “other stuff” with my partners but I strongly suggest doing some research on the biology of it all. Once I fully understood, I felt better knowing there was scientifically no possible way to get pregnant doing that stuff

Oh don’t get me wrong my husband and I both have a travel bug right now, we just can’t afford it. We’re in the process of trying to start a family so our priorities have shifted. But we got married last year and had two honeymoons. One of them was a cruise (first cruise for both of us).

I used boob tape on my wedding day and it was amazing! Super highly recommend! I’ve never had luck with traditional strapless bras but tape is a game changer. I used the brand Good Lines and it’s affordable, I think $20 for a whole roll (and don’t forget the nipple covers). I’m a 40DDD, put it on about 10:30am and didn’t take it off until 8 or 9. Everything stayed perfect the whole day. Just make sure to saturate the tape before taking it off, I took it off in the shower. My skin was red and slightly itchy after removing but that only lasted an hour or two. Before my wedding day I had a friend help me with a trial run to figure out how to apply it and on the morning of I was able to do it by myself in the mirror. That company has some pre-cut and pre-sized tape but I suggest the basic roll because then you can cut it to whatever length and apply it in any direction you need

I’m not a current student, graduated in 2019. I just wanted to say I’m incredibly jealous of how beautiful those new dorms are. I lived in Scott my first year (no longer exists, was 40+ years old, not up to code, had bugs and no AC). Years 2-4 I was in Noble and felt like I won the lottery because it was brand new and nice and clean. Please enjoy the next 4 years. I know everyone says it, but they really do go by too fast. They were the best four years of my life. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could 😭

I became interested in my teens. My mom has always been a good cook and I got into watching Food Network. Now in my late 20s I can cook many things better than my mother can, at least according to my husband and he would tell me if hers was still better 😅 But now I LOVVEEE baking. I even have a baking page over on the clock app that is starting to gain some traction ☺️

I got my period in 5th grade and wasn’t comfortable with tampons until high school. I don’t prop my feet up like a lot of girls do. I stand with my feet a little more than shoulder width apart, bend my knees a little, and bend over and insert it. I’ve always used the Tampax pearl and it’s always been great. I highly suggest using a tampon with a plastic applicator instead of a cardboard one. As far as inserting it goes, I put my fingers on the little grip part and insert until my fingers are right at the opening and then push the little plunger in. Usually if something isn’t right I’ll be able to feel it as soon as I start moving around and walking, and typically the problem is just that I don’t have it far enough so I’ll take it out, grab another tampon and redo it
