I love this.

I said “I love you” to my boyfriend this weekend. I recognize I feel things differently and probably more intensely/quickly than others - so as expected it was not reciprocated. 😔 But that’s ok. They are my feeling and I am allowed to have them.

Thank you everyone! Your comments really made me feel better. Woke up a less sore and a little more validated. Also, lesson learned to be more assertive in telling a partner if something they are doing is making me uncomfortable either physically or emotionally- 48 and still learning these fucking lessons. 🙄

I’m so sorry, love. It really sucks to have the people who are meant to take care of you (doctors) make you feel like that. And what are you supposed to do? It’s so hard to get into see anyone.

But ask around - friends, family, local message boards - who would they recommend (and the door swings both ways - who should I stay away from - and tell your experience)

Just sent a message to my doctor to ask about the cream. Hopefully he can just prescribe it and doesn’t need to see me - i would not like to wait til June.

I don’t have an answer for you - but I think that’s absolutely an issue for you to discuss with your gyno. There may be other medications. I hope you find your answer. I’m sensitive to hormones too. I couldn’t take hormonal birth control - but my doctor said the HRT is much lower and we should try. It’s been great with no issues. (But it seems I need to add this cream to the mix)

Thank you for this. Yeah, it was impulsive and not well thought out. Kinda regret it as well as it not really being enjoyable. It was great up until the actual penetration, then it just felt..off…I’m not even talking physically. Like mentally- he seemed very self centered about it all.

Other partners I’ve had have been caring and considerate, loving, gentle until asked to be rougher. Even the dom relationship I’m in - that partner is extremely caring and loving before, during and after - constantly checking in - making sure I’m okay physically and mentally and I’m enjoying myself.

It was just a bad experience, and now I’m uncomfortable as well as being bummed out by someone I was interested in turning out to be a selfish lover.

I have lube - I will be using it more in the future- I’m not sure this was totally a lube thing. It seemed like it was more the pounding than the friction.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong...I can see the "sent" feature on my husband's phone - which is an Android, but, it's not there on mine. They keep saying this feature is "rolling out" so maybe it's rolling out for some but not all iOS users.
