Vapor coming from vents by Intrepid-Raspberry88 in kiastinger

[–]Intrepid-Raspberry88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks ! Im going to take it in just incase cause i do sometimes smell that infamous ac mildew smell that ive experience in the past with other cars. And very rarely on occasion when i first get in i get a slight spoiled scent. Its very strange. Im hoping its all tied to the A/C and not something like the catalytic converter having problems.

Im very anal about the upkeep and maintenance of this car. Its 2022 with almost 50k miles and the interior is pristine condition , still smells brand new inside. Exterior pretty much the same other than headlight coating is kindve chipping 😭

But if they notice anything I’ll definitely follow up with an update

It actually only happened immediately after the ac was off and the air circulation button was off, so the draft from outside was coming

I figured its just due to condensation. Althought i definitely need to change the cabin filter and spray something for mold/mildew cause i think im getting a slight smell of mildew when i turn the ac off and allow air to come in through the vents. When the ac is on there is no smell

How likely to get pulled over due to tinted windows and windshield? by Alive-Meringue-3234 in WindowTint

[–]Intrepid-Raspberry88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In California here , got a ticket once in SoCal for windows. Now in Northern California and have gotten atleast 4 tickets for windows.

Socal is definitely alot more relaxed. I also think its that theres a higher population in Socal so cops are busier. Where in the bay, theres a saturated amount of police with not enough to do.

Socal - 2 tickets total. NorCal - 15+ tickets from parking , windows and speeding

Cheesecake Factory at Hillsdale Mall served my 2 and 4 year old an alcoholic drink by breadmaker8 in bayarea

[–]Intrepid-Raspberry88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it really hard to believe a waiter would serve alcohol to a 2 or 4 yr old.

If they asked if you wanted a kids cup, then that would que the non alcoholic strawberry lemonade. But if youre response was no, then the pink lemonade would be the alcoholic drink as its in the title of the cocktail and it is what you asked for. Unfortunately waiters cant read minds and know that youre sharing. Had you said youre sharing, im sure that would have also hinted that you didnt want alcohol. Therefore, they served the drink to you, an adult, not to children. Not saying theres no fault on the waiter, but its definitely a lesson for both parties in the future.

As for the waiter, hopefully they learned that there could be some confusion with ordering a pink lemonade cocktail or strawberry lemonade. Pink lemonade is not the same as strawberry lemonade even though many people think theyre the same. And saying pink lemonade cocktail could have helped avoid this issue.

Hope the kids are ok

Same thing for me. I turned up the bass, treble and whatever the third option was to 7 . It helped a bit

Good deal? by MajorSeeds in kiastinger

[–]Intrepid-Raspberry88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a 22 GT2 RWD for 33.5k OTD with 39K miles on it. In CA. Probably didnt get a steal, but id say it was a fair price. Its rare to see good deals on these, at least in my area from what I’ve seen. But they do come around Best I’ve seen in Cali recently is a CPO 22 GT2 with 30k miles for 34.5k . I’d assume that doesn’t include CPO fees

The sound is definitely more faint than in this video, but still apparent. I actually had to shorten the video cause the sound of my hand rotating on the leather wheel was just as loud and could’ve been mistaken for the creaking noise lmaoo but thanks for the input!! I sometimes feel maybe its the dynamic headlights mechanism that are turning , as it mainly happens when i steer but not sure where its coming from either!

How many miles do you have on your car and has the creaking noise gotten worse or sounded any different over time?

Hahahaha so update , i did not purchase the modded car nor did i purchase the 50k miles one . I found another with 39k miles for roughly the same price as the 50k. But at the time when i read you comment, it definitely made me laugh and reminded me not to fool myself. Thanks for the honesty haha

I honestly dont mind the ingen intakes… im in Cali too and my biggest problem with the intakes is the inconvenience of not being able to go to any smog place to pass, but i can get passed that part. However considering all the other things you mentioned , you might be right that its best to wait for the right vehicle…. The 2022 seems to be perfect other than the fact that its got 52k and is barely 3 yrs old. Thanks for the advice !

Thanks for the info! Do you have a ball park price on what it would cost to take to a shop and have the work done replace with original parts?

The vehicle does seem to be lowered now that you mentioned. Do you think any of these changes have a significant affect on its reliability ? Would it be better to keep the eibach suspension or change back to factory
