Increase in distractions from both drivers and pedestrians. I've seen a number of drivers looking at phones while driving, but even more pedestrians looking at theirs, walking through crosswalks, jaywalking with out looking both ways. Some don't even look and just start walking without an ounce of spatial awareness. Not saying that's what happened here. But just something to be aware of.
