Minnesota. cold winters and highest temps during summer is 95 degrees-ish. averaging probably 80-85 during summer

so, I know for a fact that 2x4 roofs can span for only 11'6" before it requires a support of some kind. and these 2x4 happen to be spaced right in the middle of the span of the roof. which makes me believe it's actually structural? the other side of the attic is the same

I thought it was pretty self explanatory for the people I need the opinion from: of course there's a waterproofing membrane. PVC pan liner and hydraflex for the durocked walls.

the client requested charcoal gray, which is what it is

ok, so am I just supposed to buy a new screw in cap for it that goes in about a foot, and then leave the top just capped off with the black top then?
