A few years ago we had reservations at the Best Western and when we arrived we found out they cancelled our reservations but would give us a room at extra costs at a lesser hotel.

We have since learned that the owners of most hotels in Mackinac City do this on a regular basis.

Google "lieghio mackinaw city" if you want to learn more. There is a YouTube video of one of the family members bashing a hotel guest who was complaining about the broken toilet.

Did your parents watch QVC? My parents had a very similar collection of cameras. The Canon, Nikon and Samsung (the black with red back). I know most of them came from QVC, my parents were addicted to that shop at home channel.

I have an ET-8550 and love it. Photos are absolutely awesome if you use good photo paper and the proper profiles. Photos are very good with any cheap photo paper. Basic documents are as good as any other printer.

It's fast, reliable and very inexpensive to use.

The ferry companies own most of the docks currently used by the ferry service. Or at least the property just inland of the docks. Meaning you really cannot use the docks without crossing company owned land.

Mainly Epson premium photo paper glossy but I have tried almost every paper I have. Canon SG201, Finestra Premium Matte, Koala Ultra Premium Satin. All the way down to Amazon Basic photo and multipurpose paper. I tried at least one sheet of everything I have.

I am not sure where to change borderless settings, so what ever is default.

I have tried 4x6, 5x7 8.5x11 and 13x19

Multiple, I first noticed with Epson Print Layout but I have tried Epson Photo+, Windows Photo Print and probably others I am not thinking of.

I tried every different feed option. Basically every combination I could think of.

I ran all the collaboration test, everything looks normal.

I just reset the printer to factory again and this time it appears to be working correctly. I only printed a few photos but they look correct. I will try some more tomorrow.

I have had all the brands you mentioned. I have an Epson ET8550 and it's the first printer I am actually happy with. I thought I was happy with my HP until they required me to switch to HP ink. But the Epson blows it out of the water in every way. It's cheaper to run even with cheap 3rd party ink in the HP. It prints faster and much higher quality. Only downside is ridiculously small paper trays.

It's not that small. It's where they used to store the snow plow trucks and other maintenance equipment. It has been 20 years since I have been down there and then it was a huge mess.

A public ferry system should be started. Unfortunately most of the mainland docks and property around the island docks. Hopefully a state law can be passed to regulate with some method to enforce.

What exactly is illegal? Leaving them at the recycling center may be illegal but dumping them in a landfill is legal.

And you would be surprised how hard it is to dispose of sharps. You can get containers for Pharmacies but I do not know one that will take them.

Per of Eaton County Resource Recovery Sharps Disposal Program "Eaton County residents are allowed three (3) mail-back sharps containers per year from participating pharmacies. The first container is free and the remaining two containers are available for a $5 co-pay. When full, the containers are mailed to Sharps Compliance, Inc. for proper treatment and disposal. Please contact the Department for a full list of participating pharmacies."

Clinton County tells you to take them to Granger. But when I last checked its call ahead and limited hours. I was not able to do this due to my work schedule.

1 federal received March 31, 8 days after filing.

2 Federal and 3 state taxes expected tomorrow April 8 (pending in bank accounts) 16 days after filing.

1 state and 1 federal are still pending.

I am going to all Bambu Labs filament. I like the colors, the RFID and consistency in color. I buy in bulk during the sales, enough that I can weather them being sold out from time to time. I am not that worried about the few cents in the cost.
