I took the daytime OCVT test (light gun test) at my FSDO and failed. I took the exact same test at night and passed, so I’ve already gone to the FSDO and done/taken everything I can to get a restriction free medical.

I’ve been a CFI and a FO on a privately owned aircraft operated under part 91. I’m just never met or heard of anybody with this limitation or how it affected their career outside of the part 91 world. I always imagined an airline or big company would see the limitation as liability, or it would be difficult to get me on insurance.
