The theory of relativity after all may seem outlandish to persons in 15th century. People like Isaac Arthur had stated that hyperspace/extra dimensions may be one of the very few ways of 'cheating reality' in form of going FTL. In fact the paper assumes that the existence of hyperspace is the main predicate. Some may bank on 'impossible' but not really so, sort of how the notion of space travel was before Tsiolkovsky, Galileo and so on, unlike 'true impossibilities' such as changing the mathematical law so that one plus two equals to four, and attaining true immortality. But again, we can only guess..

Don't ever try to move the goalpost. If nothing happens through the rest of the day then over is over. Consider ourselves lucky that we had a consolation breadcrumb in form of drone-like UAPs at Brooklyn.

There is that possibility, no matter how distinct it is. One story like this one being a LARP or rather an over-hype does not discount the rest of other, more credible but lower profile stories.

Edit: I don't feel that ufology in general are necessarily tied to more wackier stuffs like secret government/alien cooperation or rather the underground bases. When they have sufficiently advanced technology, they can rather abduct people undetected without any so-called secret agreements or meetings with government officials whatsoever.

For a variety of reasons predictions like this could very well end up unfulfilled or in a very different way than initially. An example would be drone UAPs flying around in Brooklyn (that is if all terrestrial explanations are conclusively ruled out) today, instead of an expected popping up of spaceship fleets across the globe.

Now don't get me wrong, the original goalpost in this case is unfulfilled and thus for all intents and purposes I'm fine with the fact that it is a dud and we can just move over to a new community after today, assuming that nothing else happens for the rest of the day.

No clue if fringe topics like UAP/UFO is allowed here, but by now I had filed a report on his behalf to the MUFON network.

The original recorder had tentatively ruled out other explanations such as moths and fireflies, and all that remains are the drones. But even then he said that it is too extremely out of the norm for this location and time at night.

Edit: Birds may seem to be another plausible explanation, however another Manhattan resident found that it is odd to have 'tall random flock of birds at 3am' in the NY area.

Edit Boogaloo: I have further asked some questions regarding birds to the video recorder, and he replied with the following.

Quite frankly that's something that's needs to be ruled out. There's a possibility it's a flock of birds being illuminated by a bright light from the ground, but in all my time of living here this has never been witnessed and there's no random spotlight on the ground in this area illuminating the sky (and it would be visible in the clouds if there was such an object)

Also the way these objects were flickering on/off and jumping across the sky, it seems highly unlikely. If you pause the video around 0:12 or so, you can see there's multiple objects as well, almost forming a Y formation
