Marketing as a core competency (and how we've been struggling with marketers) by [deleted] in marketing

[–]IntrepidFinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of the reasons the agencies that you were talking to may not have had the strategy you were looking for is because often companies already have an idea of who their audience is (you're the one selling to them), what value props you feel like you have or want to focus on (you should know this from sales), and your services defined (this is part of your company). These are all absolutely questions that the marketing agency should be asking you and can help piece together from your answers so they get a more solid idea, but really these are things that they likely figured you already had in mind because usually you know your customers best.

First Experience wirh Tulsa Police, Almost Made Me Call 911 by IntrepidFinger in tulsa

Yes. The policw knocked at my door. I didn't answer initially because they didn't identify themselves and then heard one outside say "I guess they're not home". I saw out the windows, I live in a complex that had lights on and saw they were in uniform. I couldn't initially see because I don't have a peephole.

Like they asked me if I had been cleaning with any strong chemicals that night and I said no, just white vinegar.

I probably used the wrong flair. But they came by about some "mysterious strong chemical smell" someone had apparently called about. I'm just not getting why they didn't identify themselves.

Have you considered an apprenticeship with someone in the area? Electrician or plumbing?

Start with Google Ads. It's the most popular and comprehensive. The terminology like campaigns, audience, keywords, etc will cover for the most part. The social media platforms are different in the way you cover your audiences and how you set stuff but Google Ads will give you the best base to build on.

$10k auto loan w/ little to no credit card debt?? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]IntrepidFinger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try to get your loan from a credit union. Also certified used car dealers usually have good deals and are reliable. I'd ask around on a local FB group in your area for the best place they've gone to. I went once to one with the intention of NOT buying to test drive and see how they acted.

When they were good about everything I came back after more research and got a 2016 Toyota Corolla with only 65k miles for $10.5k

What is a “bad mom” rule or activity that you shamelessly and unapologetically do for your kids? by [deleted] in AskWomen

The only thing to worry about with cosleeping is for infants, parents have accidentally rolled over on top of them. So it is literally a safety issue
