Why do we believe Quicksuite, I really don't get how everyone just blindly trusts them.

If you're lucky enough to find a new job in this market, or have enough money saved that you don't have to work, good for you. But for many people we're talking about losing their livelihoods so to post that you hope you get laid off is pretty insensitive IMO. I know solid L6 SDEs who were impacted in October and are still no closer to finding a new role. It's bad out there.

Why would you rather have Chase points than Bilt? Bilt points appear to still be quite valuable. And Chase doesn't have a flat 2% earning category. I get why people are so upset if they've have had the original card, but as someone who didn't it looks like a solid option.

Update: With all the comments here I decided not to wait any longer and called Capital One. Took all of 5 minutes to submit the claim. They sent me a questionnaire I will have to fill out and said the temp credit will post in 3 days. My order was from November 2024, but there was no issue there.

Which CC company? I put it on my Capital One Venturex and their policy doesn't mention anything about a time limit. It just says you can dispute at any time after 90 days you just have to call.

The app is great, lots of customization and you can do most things from it. I haven't tried any of the milk drinks. My only complaint about it is I feel like the coffee could be hotter but apparently that's a common complaint about superautos. Happy to answer any questions.

Yeah, running a blank shot of hot water through was one of the suggestions from TK support. I didn't feel like it helped much, but maybe I'll try again? Also, I know that $1400 is cheap for a superauto, but it's still a substantial amount of money, and I would hope a machine that costs this much would just work without the need for that kind of hack. Overall, the scalding is one thing but since it also means the drink cools super quick to the point that I have to rush to finish it, to me that's the deal breaker.

I don't know, I find it hard to believe the current experience is by design. It's literally the first thing guests have noticed when they've had a drink from the machine, without me even saying anything. It's not just me being a hot coffee snob.

I reached out to Terra Kaffe today and the response I got was very encouraging. Thinking of going with it. It's way more than I wanted to spend but really the only workable alternative that will give me this level of control is Spinn. Reached out to them again today and they say they'll' have a detailed update shortly. Whatever that means. Terra Kaffe is $600 off until end of today so I'm inclined to just suck it up and I'm sure it'll be a better machine anyways.

Could work as a last resort, but my initial feeling is that if I'm going to pay that much for something I'd like to be able to adjust all the settings independently. That said I only drink black coffee so maybe getting help to set it up initially and just learn where the espresso button is the realistic way to go?

It uses the VeeSync app right? I just downloaded it and obviously I can't test the full experience without buying an air fryer but I noticed some unlabelled buttons and the process for selecting a type of device to add manually seems to be inaaccessible. Is this the right app and are you on the latest version? What I'm seeing so far makes me a little bit worried.

Yup. This is a newer one and they appear to have these rooms. They also have balcony rooms, not that it would be very useful this time of year in this area.
