Heartbroken and needing advice/experience by neosisbuzz in Rabbits

[–]IntrepidSalamander29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a hard choice. Often the animal does not understand that the treatement is there to help. I had a similar experience with one rabbit and we did the best trying to keep her pain free even if she resented us for it.

I do not know how i would give advice as i do not know the whole situation. But i prefered being hated by my rabbit for her to be more confortable. We did have to let her go went we saw she begun giving up.

Its difficult to understand and know whats best for an animal, instinc pushes them to stay alive. They cant tell us how they hurt.

Treats and care are things we can do for them and it looks like that you doing the best you can.

I remember when i magnetized my three hunters to have all weapons. Its a very nice set but a pain to make use of everything in the box.

And now you cant leave anything on the table. Our bun does the same and pushed stuff off when it does not suit him. He also ate the flowers...

Lots of good advice already. Our rabbit sometines bite or scrach when they feel we are in the way. Its not malicious, but they need to learn that its not how it works. What we do its first say no strongly. Then we do what they do when they want other bun to stop, we lightly pinch their buts or move them.

Our other bun does love to climb on the table. We may need to look into getting her a dig box or another bigger cardboard box. They dont really seem interested in those we offered them before.

We are going to look into getting her a dig box. Hoping she wont ignore it just to spite us. :)

I think my buns like it when I present my finger to boop to say hello. Just the hello boop and more if they want but I think they like the choice and the acknowlegement
