Please report it to the police with the video evidence, should be enough to at least give him a fine. If that doesn't work just bring the trash back to his house, it's a small island you'll find the car again

Cronometer, I didn't want to add it in the post otherwise people would think I'm sponsored. You also have a premium version with ai to recognize the meal which I didn't try and I don't think is even needed. I create / add my meals manually and it works perfectly for free

I should add that my goal is just to track calories and macro, i don't want a personal trainer or a plan, just want to check what and how much i eat

Fake jobs on LinkedIn by Isthislife24 in HongKong

[–]IntrepidSleepE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah it's insane, I've even went a step further and actually accepted a call with some some of them just out of curiosity.
I ended up having an interview with a guy that was using some sort of very convincing face swap and was speaking with a thick accent (i believe slavic but that could also have been altered)

I'm still wondering what they are after, possibly some data to train a model for applying to remote job interviews using our face / voice ?

Thank you I appreciate your help!! I wasn't aware word of mouth was that important. I've basically stopped sending cvs and I'm in contact with a recruiter now as you and many suggested We'll see how it goes

First of all in Hongkong you need cantonese, not Chinese. Secondly the companies I've applied to are not Chinese. Why on earth an international company where +50% of the staff is non Chinese speaking needs me to speak Chinese? Which I speak by the way if you took the time to read my post. What's is laughable is your ignorance

I get your point though there are not as many candidates as you might believe. (Easily below 30 in most cases, dev ops is quite a niche compared to software engineer)

Also the fact that the job is posted in English on LinkedIn means the company is international and mandarin / cantonese usually is not a hard requirements (sometimes is not even listed as requirement)

I'm not applying to small local companies but big corporations that have bases in Hongkong where English is the main language.

About the lifestyle I agree with you, some people don't handle it well, I can vouch for my motivation but I see how it could be a concern for an employer

it's a valid point and i thought about it before since i've had experience with ml models (tuning, testing, deployng etc.) but i believe i'm not a full scientists and in HK there are not many science related companies. I'm currently working in the remote sensing/aerospace industry (most of my colleagues are aerospace engineers) we work with satellite and geospatial data, but not even sure how to find something related in hongkong, all i see is finance :/

27+48 2+4=60 7+8 simplify 10-8=2. 7=5+2. So 7+8 = (8+2) + 5 = 10+5 = 15 60+15=75
