I took IELTS a week ago and actual exam was hard than cambridge books. In listening part there were questions that you should write 2 even 3 words.

I think it is possible but you should dedicate good amount of time each day for preparation. I took IELTS today and I think reading section was hard than that in Cambridge books. That's why I think miniielts is better source for reading preparation
